HONDO

Hondo lost by more than a whisker with Bush yes terday, as the Brewers removed any possible con tention that they're contenders in the NL Central.

Tonight, with his dough down to 760 merkles, it's "V" for Volstad - 10 units on the Marlins to van quish the Rockies.

SCOTT FERRALL
Comp

Boston -140 over Oakland--Wakefield easily here. I like Duchscherer but not in Beantown

Tampa -185 over Detroit--Kazmir does his thing at the Trop against the never consistent Tigers

Toronto (even odds) at Texas--Marcum with the nice little upset special at Arlington

Kansas City +110 at home vs ChiSox--Hochevar stuns Vazquez. Chicago's been on the road and won't take it seriously

Minney -160 over Cleveland--Twins are just better and the Tribe blow. Take Blackburn

Seattle -125 and Washburn over Baltimore--Long trip for the Orioles and Washburn's been hot. They've been saying for a month that he was going to the Yankees-WRONG !

Its hard to lay the price with the Cubs today with Marquis on the mound. Also hard to take the Pirates.

I've been inquiring if anyone wants to get in for ATS Lock Club football. last 3 years have been very profitable, there are three of us already and if we get 3 more the price would be about $500 for season(which would include the college totals lock club as well). they won about 120 units last year and about 190 3 years ago. College totals did about 80-90 units the last two years, give or take. anyone interested, reply to me and we can email, etc. thanks for your time and to CPW for helping as well.

VEGAS EXPERTS

Cincinnati Reds at Washington Nationals
Friday, August 1st, 7:35 PM ET

The Reds are now 14 games behind in the NL Central race and have given up on their postseason dreams with the dealing of Ken Griffey Jr. The Nationals are also in a very similar situation as they have the worst record in all of baseball. Homer Bailey of the Reds has an 0-6 TSR this year and a 6.52 ERA and has not looked like the phenom he has been projected as. Odalis Perez has a 5-4 TSR at home this year with a 2.44 ERA.

Play on: Washington
