(11) SJO Sharks
(12) ANA Ducks
Take "Over"
This is a short road trip for San Jose (4-0). Patrick Marleau scored two goals, Evgeni Nabokov made 31 saves and the Sharks kept new coach Todd McLellan perfect through four games with a 5-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday. Jonathan Cheechoo had one of San Jose's two short-handed goals, plus Marleau is doing it all, excelling as a penalty killer and forechecker. This offense takes on a terrible Anaheim defense, one that has allowed 17 goals through 4 games (0-4 record). That's the most goals allowed by any team in the NHL through four contests. This shapes up as a game with plenty of offense -- especially by the visitors. Play the Sharks/Ducks over the total.

0-2 on Thursday College Football

RAINBOW's +26 on the BLUE CARPET IN BOISE--Boise St wins but doesn't cover. The Rainbows aren't that bad at 2-1 in conference and 3-3 overall, which means they show up and play football

BOISE ST. (-23.5) 36 Hawaii 13
05:00 PM Pacific Time Friday, Oct-17 - Stats Matchup
Boise State is a very good team, but my math model only favors the Broncos by 18 points. This looks like a good game to pass on.

POINTWISE

BOISE STATE 48 - Hawaii 10 - (8:00 - ESPN) -- Two straight wins for 'Bows (10 takeaways), but still a 205-100 pt deficit in their last 6 line games. Broncos again a power (5-0), averaging 41 ppg in their last 15 games. Moore: 8 TDs along with 889 PYs in his 3 starts, & there is always RB Johnson. A bit of a payback in this.

Gold Sheet
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17
*BOISE STATE 41 - Hawaii 10[/b]—UH progressing under new HC McMackin. But won’t be dissuaded from supporting hopeful BCS-buster BSU, playing ferocious defense (no TD last 8 Qs!) to complement an always well-designed, fluid attack. Broncos highly-accurate RS frosh QB K. Moore (72%, 10 TDs, 3 ints.) has the diverse weaponry to exploit undersized Warrior defense that’s allowed 101 combined pts. vs. the top two attacks it has faced (Florida & Oregon State). Fast-starting BSU has outscored opponents 117-23 in 1st H.

been out of town on job interviews

Haven't checked-in in a while. If you remember I had pointwise phones for the pre-season that I posted plus winning points. Not so hot. Have both regular services and pointwise re-sheet, for $25 per wk., not reallly worth posting for you guys. Really tanked last wk. especially on pointwise. Have subscribed to RDS mostly for his hockey which started this week, just like last yr. a breath of fresh air. 3-0 unit picks and 5-1 beer money picks so far this week. I know, no write-ups will will try to post his plays for ya tonight. Good luck, Bill
