(825) WISC GREEN BAY
(826) WISC MILWAUKEE
Take "(825) WISC GREEN BAY"

Good rivalry duel between neighboring Horizon rivals on Friday. Milwaukee had Green Bay's number last year, and they've got a great track record as hosts in this series. But with last year's results sure to fresh in their mind, plus the fact that I believe they're the superior team this season, I see taking the points with the road team as the way to play tonight. Wisconsin Green Bay is the pick.

(809) HOUSTON ROCKETS
(810) OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
Take "(810) OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER"

Yes, the Thunder are the worst team in the NBA with just five wins and they are coming off their worst ever beating, a blowout to the T-Wolves, 129-87. However, that doesn't change the fact that the Thunder have covered spreads at one of the best paces in the NBA. How about 8-2 the last 10 games, 12-3 the last 15 and 15-5 the last 20. The Rockets have been on a five game road trip that has seen the team go 1-3 SU and 2-2 ATS. But the one win was a big one, a win at Boston in the last game, 89-85. The Rockets handed the Celtics their first home loss dating back to mid-November. However, it's the hang-over that might hurt the club here. Coming off their biggest win of the season, how do you get up for a game at Oklahoma? And, that's just what we are counting on here. The Thunder look to redeem themselves after their embarrassing loss to the Wolves while the Rockets are still basking in their big win. Looks like the perfect spot for a Thunder cover here on Friday.

Fairfield vs. Loyola Maryland (NCAAB)
Jan 9, 2009 7:00 PM EST

Play: Fairfield

The Fairfield Stags faceoff against conference rival Loyola-Maryland Greyhounds at Reitz Arena in Baltimore on Friday night. The Stags enter tonight’s game with a 9-6 SU and 4-7 ATS record while the host is 5-10 SU on the season and 6-6 against the spread.
The Stags are led by forward Greg Nero who is averaging 13.3 points per game and 6.7 rebounds. Their outside presence is provided by guard Jonathan Han who averages 12.7 points per game and also leads the team in steals with 17. These two also lead the team in three-point percentage with Nero at 50% and Han with a very respectable 43.5% on the season.

Fairfield also gets solid point production out of forward Warren Edney who averages 10.5 points per game and forward Anthony Johnson who averages 9.9 points per game and 8.0 rebounds.

Loyola’s scoring comes primarily from leading scorer guard Jamal Barney who averages 16.5 points per game and guard Brett Harvey who averages 13.5 points per game. Their inside presence is provided by forward Isaac Reid who averages only 6.9 points per game with 6.5 rebounds and forward Anthony Winbush who averages 3.5 points per game and 4.1 rebounds.

The Stags average 67.6 points per game overall and they allow 68.3 points per game. Their point differential is quite small compared to Loyola’s as they average 68.7 points per game but they allow 76.3 points per game. In conference play the Stags average 73.7 points per game and allow 70.7 points per game. The Greyhounds average 74.7 points per game during conference play but they allow their opponents to score 77.5 points per game.

These two have faced one common opponent this season as the Stags played on the road at Siena as an 11 point underdog and lost 87 to 81. Loyola got Siena on their home-floor but it didn’t seem to help as they lost 75 to 68 as an 8.5 point home underdog.

The Stags inside-out offensive scheme should cause problems for the Greyhounds tonight as their personnel will have a difficult time matching up against this lineup. That is also the case when Loyola is on the offensive end of the floor, taking Barney and Harvey out of their game leaves Loyola without a go-to person to score the basketball. Loyola is struggling shooting less than 42% from the field as a team.

Fairfield has not had a problem playing on the road at Loyola as they are 7-1 ATS since 1997 when playing here. The road team in this series is 8-2-1 ATS their last 11 meetings and the underdog is 7-1-1 ATS the last nine meetings overall. Fairfield is 19-6 ATS facing teams shooting <=42% from the field with a defense of >=45% since 1997. Fairfield is 27-14-2 ATS coming off a road game and now playing a conference foe on the road. CBB teams having played at least their last five games on the road and now facing a conference opponent at home are 35-56-1 ATS. If they are installed as a home favorite the record is 21-41 ATS.

With significant fundamental, technical and situational support we will recommend a play on the visitor as the Stags cash another ticket in Baltimore tonight.

Projected Final Score: 2* Fairfield 74 Loyola-Maryland 70

Ai Simulator 7* graded play UNDER Washington/Chicago as these two teams square off in Chicago slated to start at 8:35 EST. AiS shows an 83% probability that less than 195 points will be scored in this game. Washington in a strong UNDER mode noting they are 14-4 UNDER (+9.6 Units) versus teams who make 6 or more 3 point shots/game on the season this season; 13-4 UNDER (+8.6 Units) in road games after having lost 2 of their last 3 games over the last 2 seasons; 11-2 UNDER (+8.8 Units) in road games off a upset loss as a favorite over the last 2 seasons. Washington is off 2 straight losses to Orlando and Toronto. In the last game they were installed as 3 points favorites and lost by 6. They have shot under 40% in 2 of the last 4 games with one of them a 41% performance. Chicago has shot poorly in 3 straight games not hitting better than 39.3% in any of them. Take the UNDER for 7*.

Marc Lawrence 100% NBA Super Pick Super Play! - Friday 1/9:

Play On: Detroit Pistons

Note: The Pistons take on the Nuggets in Denver tonight with a couple of strong winning angles in their favor. First, Detroit is 14-3 SU and 13-4 ATS in this series this decade, including 4-0 ATS when playing off a loss. They are also 6-1 SU and ATS on the road off a 1-point loss this decade. Look for more of the same here this evening. Back the Pistons.
