A member named Bookie Buster does the posting but he has taken some time off to rest. He should be back by the start of the season.
I would like if everyone contributes.
Most picks are from other sites. People buys plays and share them in forums .
I subscribed to ATS in the past but know they seem to be accessible.
Ness Burns have been good.

Odd's Maker's Blowout (18-3 run his L/21 in MLB!)

Play on the Rockies at 9:05 ET. Pittsburgh may have the NL's worst record at 52-70 but it has won three of its last four, averaging 9.3 runs and batting .340 during that span. The Pirates have rallied from deficits of four or more runs in each of their last three wins, including twice over the weekend against Philadelphia. The Pirates lead the majors with 129 runs in August."They open a four-game series tonight in Coors Field, where they'll face rookie Ubaldo Jimenez, who is 2-2 with a 5.28 ERA in six starts. However, he is coming off his best career start after holding the Padres to just one hit over six innings in a 3-0 victory last Wednesday. He walked two, while striking out a career-high nine! Colorado kicks off a seven-game set at Coors Field (Nationals are up next, where it is 21-6 at home since June 6. The Rockies are 25-14 (plus-$1,015) versus right-handers here at home, averaging 6.1 rpg. That bodes well, as the Pirates will send struggling righty Matt Morris (7-8, 4.65) to the mound. Morris is 0-1 with a 6.87 ERA in three starts for Pittsburgh since being acquired from San Francisco on July 31. The right-hander gave up five runs and seven hits over six innings in a 10-8 defeat to the New York Mets on Wednesday. Morris fell to 0-5 with a 7.63 ERA and .372 opponent batting average in 11 starts since beating Toronto 4-3 on June 11 (teams are 2-9). In 12 career starts versus the Rockies, Morris is 5-5 with a 5.17 ERA and looks to avoid losing his third straight start to them.

Play Selected Chicago Bears -3 -105

Its revenge time for the Bears. It may only be a preseason match up but you can expect Chicago to come out with a chip on their shoulders. The Colts are notorious for getting smoked in the preseason, and last weekend was prime example of that. Get ready for a Bears blowout with at least a two score win in this match up.

15* NL Game of the Week (12-0 run with 15* GOW plays since Aug 6!)
Play on the D'backs at 9:40 ET. The Brewers are crumbling. Discontent and insecurity seems to be everywhere and I guess that's not so surprising. This franchise last posted a winning record back in 1992, when it was still in the American League! Meanwhile, the D'backs have won 21 of 27, to move four games up in the NL West. At plus-$1,836 versus the moneyline, only the Mariners (plus-$2,24) are bigger "moneymakers" in all of MLB. While Milwaukee will send Yovani Gallardo to the mound, Arizona counters with ex-Brewer Doug Davis. Gallardo has been pounded in his last two starts, allowing 21 hits and 18 runs in just 8 1-3 innings. On the other hand, Davis is 5-0 with a 3.13 ERA in seven starts since the All-Star break (D'backs are a perfect 7-0), holding opponents to . 200 batting average. Arizona is my NL Game of the Week.

MLB Tailor-Made Beatdown GOW! (93-58, 62%)
Colorado Rockies

My Tailor Made Beatdown is a play on the Rockies. Matt Morris has been about as bad as it gets. His teams, (SFO, Pit), are 1-8 in his last nine starts. And, in his last eight outins, the veteran righty, who has lost a ton of velocity on his fastball, has allowed 41 earned runs and 84 base runners in 47 IP. That's a horrible 7.85 ERA & 1.79 WHIP. Morris has been bad against Colorado overall, and at Coors Field in his career. And, while his team scores just about 3.9 RPG in road night games against righties, Colorado is 16-9 in home night games against righthanders, scoring an average of 5.6 RPG. Should be another rough night for Morris and we'll take advantage. The Rockies are my Tailor-Made Beatdown GOW

15* AL Game of the Week (15-1 since Aug 7 and 98-31 since Opening Day!)

My 15* play is on the Tor Blue Jays at 7:05 ET. The Blue Jays are seven games behind the Mariners in the AL wild card race but haven't "given up," as they have won 18 of their last 24 at home to improve to 39-24 in '07 at home. Blue Jay starters have gone at least six innings in 11 straight games, including seven at home. The starting staff is 7-3 with a 3.36 ERA in 12 home starts in August. Shaun Marcum (10-4, 3.31 ERA) will try to extend that streak. After opening the season in the bullpen, he's made 18 straight starts, going 9-2 with a 2.91 ERA (team is 12-6). The young right-hander has won five straight starts, with a 1.30 ERA over his last four. The A's are 17-20 since the break, including 7-11 on the road. Joe Blanton, tonight's starter, has been very good in Oakland but just terrible on the road. He's made 13 starts each, both home and away in '07. At home, he's allowed 83 hits in 96.1 innings with a 2,62 ERA but on the road, he's allowed 99 hits in 82 innings with a 5.49 ERA!

AL Game of the Week
15* Toronto Blue Jays

Oddsmaker's Error (9-3 or 75% winners since July 18!)

My Oddsmaker's Error is on the Az D'backs at 9:40 ET. The Brewers are fading fast, having lost SIX of seven and going just 16-28 since July 1. On the other hand, the D'backs have won 21 of 27 and just may be the NL's best team. In tonight's opener of a three-game set, Milwaukee starts a rookie pitcher in Yovani Gallardo, who has been rocked for 18 runs and 21 hits in just 8.1 innings, while losing his last two starts. Meanwhile, Arizona sends ex-Brewer Doug Davis to the mound, who is 5-0 with a 3.13 ERA in seven starts since the All-Star break (team is 7-0!) and has won his last three outings, limiting opponents to six runs in 20.1 innings (2.66 ERA). The Brewers come in losers of 17 of their last 24 road games, while the D'backs have won 10 of their last 13 at home. All this, and Arizona opens a small favorite (minus-$1.20)???
