I will start posting this at the top of all the threads:
The goal with this thread is to FADE the tout consensus. I look for LARGE differences in what the touts are on and play the OPPOSITE side. By large difference, this is solely up to the individual, but I look for between a 10-15+ difference on the SIDES and at least 25-30 touts on the game.
Totals are another beast to themselves. There aren't as many touts that post them as plays, and as such it is harder to get a good consensus. However, if there are enough touts on one side vs. the other, then I will play it as well. THIS IS VERY RARE THOUGH.
It has worked well in the past. Many of these scamdicappers are simply out for people's money from buying picks regardless of whether they win or lose, and don't know anything about the game.
There are more people that play games during the bowl season, NCAA tournament, and the NFL playoffs than anything else. Thus, these guys will give picks that suck. (I have my own opinion as to how they are tied into Vegas, but that is another conversation).
It is up to you as far as what you play, I am just trying to add more information so people can see where these guys are telling people to put their money.
BOL and use this information as a tool with everything else on this site.
I will add that the sides we played today went 2-0. They were HUGE in the differences though. We might be able to find a couple more tomorrow.
