My mother has a Maytag dryer that is 4 years old. The cycling therm went. The repair man came over and charged $183##). That's $75 just to come over, $40 for the part, & $68 for the labor. It took exactly 7 minutes to change the part. I would rather pay $500 for a new dryer than pay that. Problem is, I'm not home and that same part I could have got it for around $35 shipped. What a joke, feel for the ones who get taken to the cleaners^<<^
