Seriously guys, isn't it pretty obvious that Detroit is the better overall team?

I am thinking Detroit is better now. I know they are at home. But they are soooooooooo much more of a team. They pass more. Decent shooters. Solid rebounding. GREAT defense. Lakers are all Shaq and Koby. Looks like that is not going to be enough in this series.

Only way Lakers can pull it out in 7 if they get some calls when they go home...

without a doubt...

they are younger, stronger, hungrier....

If it were not for poor coaching IMHO they would also be up 3-0 after tonite...too bad...

Let's only hope. Against Indiana it was called horrible shooting, but against the mighty Western Conf.

lol...good point General, it goes to show what a strong Defence INDIANA has aswell...in a way...a fascinating series they had with the Pistons...not really boring for a 'true' sports fan that can learn to love all different styles of games...

Certainly a Pleasure to watch if you were betting on the unders...

Despite Phil's playoff record, I've never thought that he was a better coach than Larry Brown, just more blessed with superstars(Chi & LA), and now with more weapons than just a beat-up six foot AI..he has the Zen Master in trouble.

With no help for the two LA superstars thus far..Pistons smell blood and are elevating their game!

Identity, you hit it right on the button. The books are getting killed for favouring the Lakers. If both teams play their best the Pistons are a way better team. It is like Kobe and Shaq against the rest of the 10 players that Detroit has. Another thing is how effective is Kobe and Shaq going to be if they play the full 48 minutes.

Maybe the mail lady and the glove will beg Larry Brown for a roster sport next year?

what a great game and effort as the boys eventually wore out the old men and frustrated them and dominated with the defense once again. 2 to go!!

i liked when whats his name tried some fancy behind the back 1 handed shovel pass and turned it over so larry brown immediatly took him out.

he coaches the pistons like a college team, he discourages BS and teaches the importance of practice, execution and effort for the length of a game. he also doesnt play the freshmen (darko).

you could see it in LA's face that they are up against something that they have all kinds of trouble with and the look of frustration.

i dont ever remember phil jackson being down 2-1 with a blowout and his one win by luck, in a playoff series ever. the lakers clearly look beat after 3.

let phil lose a couple and hell be out for no reason just like scott and rivers.

let the old dynasty of LA end, and usher in the new ERA of motown dominance!!

Think it is safe to say also that Larry Brown is a much better coach than Jackson.

great point fish. .brown's kinda like calhoon. treats them like a bunch of grown men with outsanding talent who command respect but at the same time need to be taught some discipline and instilled with a good game plan.

It sure looks like Detroit is the better team to me. I can scoring the fight 10-2, maybe 11-1 right now with 9-10 quarters of total domination.
