any thoughts on the potential Iverson/Billups trade?

as a Nuggets fan, I'd love to bring back Billups to Colorado and I think his leadership and style of play would make the Nuggets better. Throw in McDyss and we're laughing.

Personally I dont see why it would be intelligent for the Pistons to go through with this deal

sixers -11.5?

Kings just wanna go back west and have been unimpressive to say the least in its first 3 games. Sixers on other hand will be one of the best home teams when its all said and done and i think they walk all over Sac tongiht :cripwalk:

Pistons are thinking right now...great trade for both teams. Pistons get the most prolific scorer in the leauge (something they didn't have) and Denver gets a "leader" in Billups and someone with championship experience. Not to mention they get two defenders. They knew what they were doing unloading Camby last year I'm assuming. Makes Denver look a little smarter. Detroit is trying to win an NBA championship this year or next and they weren't gonna do it without one more piece. I think they got that piece. Yes they lost their heart , but they also gained someone that will adapt greatly in Detroit. Iverson has the biggest heart and plays harder than anyone in the NBA. He's a thug because of what he was surrounded by. He will now be surrounded veterans with one thing on their minds. WIN. He never had this in Philly and Denver. He was always in a race to see who could get the most tattoos. An environment change is exactly what he needed. He is gonna be a totally different person IMO . Not to mention he will still average 30 pts a game....NOT BAD

Finally an intelligent take on this trade. :toast:

Nothing major I love about this card once again...leans on Memphis, Memphis over 198.5 and La Clippers +6.5---still doing some research and looking over these two games....My plays will most likely be 1, 2 or all 3 of these but nothing else...A possible lean towards Dallas.

I am with you about laying the big points with Philly but, they match up really, really well against the Kings who are on the road again *no pun intended*.

What do you think about the first quarter line? Bodog hasn't posted it yet, but I am leaning that way.
Thoughts?

Just one for the night

Memphis and Golden State over 198.5 -110 for 2 units please

Golden State will rarely be held under 100 points this year and tonight is no exception. Playing a team who plays no defense and shoots a ton of threes. Threes going in for Memphis are great for the total and missed threes lead to transition basketball and good for the over for Golden State. Im very surprised this total wasn't at least 208-210. That's where I think it should be so I will play the over. I like where the pace of this game SHOULD be...that's not always the case though
