I think 'home court advantage' in college basketball, has a lot more importance, and a lot more effect on the game. However I determine home court, as the court they play on for ALL their home games. Sure the crowd is a big plus, but the huge advantage of playing at home is the familiarity with the rims. Just think when you were a little kid and would shoot outside for hours on your driveway hoop, or the hoop at the local park. I swear I was an 80% shooter on these baskets I was most familiar with. Same thing goes with high school and college. I always shot better at my 'home court'. It is simple. You are used to the enviornment. You are used to the background behind the basket, you are familiar with the rims and the way they bounce, etc. Shooters love to shoot on those home rims. Therefore even though Kemper may have a home court feel it is still a long ways away from their real homecourt. Sure Kansas does play here at least once a season, but still I don't think this is a true home game
