Not sure who will win this series but i love how all the ignorant public fools like half the people in this forum and others refuse to give them any credit. Just keep saying they will get beaten and guess what you will be right eventually. Then you can pat yourselves on the back. reminds me of when the wsox won the series people would say ignorant crap like they were only the 5th best team in the al.
Someone on the television broadcast made a good point during the Red Sox-Rays series and some of you may have heard the comment as well about the Phillies waiting around for so long, therefore being somewhat cold when the series finally gets underway for them on Wednesday. Not sure how many days they have been off since they eliminated the Dodgers but in TB's case, the fact that they finished at home on Sunday and then go right back at it again on Wednesday, at home, is not much of a layoff and they're hot as well. The commentator made the remark about how the same thing occurred last year with the Rockies, comparing the Phillies scenario to their situation, and how they sat waiting for a lengthy period and then went out in rather quick fashion. Just a thought.
