Yea this thing is coming tgether real nice !! I'm sure the latest update will be up real soon on the room reservations. How long as that vital info been dragged out !! What a joke this thing has become. But I'm sure it will be the best Bash yet. Can't wait for the reports back from these new Posters. Be on the edge of my seat waiting for that.

Kinda actually feel that these Bash delays have been tied into the 270 Law taking effect tommorrow on this Online Offshore situation. then some of this other nonsense we have been hearing. Fact of the matter most of the dominos will probably fall a few weeks later anyway , so this day is more of a formality then anything else.
Totally inacuarate and not even close to having anything to do with the dates and venue we have selected for both Bashes. I expect Xpanda to post a thread tonite with information about the most excellent hotel/casino we are going to be using for both events (same place). She is just crossing t's and dotting I's before she makes the official announcement.

No one is happy we had to make a date change but we did and it has nothing to do with legalities, financial status, or any other off the wall theories that have been posted .The Rx.com as a business had to make the date change. We simply could not conduct the Bash on the originally planned weekend of August 17th. After much consultation we decided the weekend of Sept 7th thru 9th would be more suitable than one in early or late August because of the football weekend factor and hope that most Rxers who attend the September Bash will enjoy being in Las Vegas during that time of year.
Taking into consideration that by moving the date we inconvienenced a good sized group of loyal posters management budgeted extra money to host a second Bash on the weekend of August 17th. that will be hosted by Rx.com General Manager Rick Allec and will feature a poker tournament (if feasable), and reception dinner with a generous cash and other great item giveaway, not to mention a terrific buffett and open bar. Natrully the two nights at the hotel/casino will be comped at both events.
The September Bash will have a college football handicapping contest with a hefty cash funded account at an Rx.com sponser awarded to the winner and I am going to put together a baseball capping contest for the August Bash attendees. The football contest will actually take place on Sat September 8th in the sportsbook of the host hotel. The baseball contest will be conducted here on the forum (probably by email) beforehand with the winner announced and awarded a very nice cash funded account at one of The Rx.com sponser books.
Everything is free except for the college football capping contest as contestants will be asked to risk $55 by betting five games each laying $11 to win $10 on each of their selections from a pre-established card of games in the host casino's sportsbook as part of the contest (all winning tickets will be returned to each contestant so most likely very few will be out the entire $55 (unless you go 0 and 5). Also I want to mention the $10,000 we are giving away with these baseball parlay threads, winners will get their envelopes at the receptions dinners regardless of which Bash they attend.
Anyway once the venue is announced we will be posting threads for all the events in complete detail along with a complete itinarary for both events.
The entire mod staff and everyone in Rx. Tech Support and Rx.com Management appreciate your patience with the delay in announcing the actual hotel/casino but I think you will all agree it was worth the wait when everything is said and done.
