i'm done agonizing over this stupid match-up, the operative word here -- "stupid". keep it simple stupid:
like one of my friends here said their "backs are against the wall" unfortunately he was talking about the wrong team. green bay is superior to chicago in EVERY phase of the game (maybe give the bears mid-LB -- but he can't do it all). the packers win because they have too, and they are the better team, period. and it's not even close -- qb - not close, rb's - not close, coach - not close, db's - not close, ol -- not close. this game is over before it starts. the only thing that keeps me from making this a "full" play is the fact that the chicago crowd and their first game in a new stadium.

My thoughts exactly. GB superior in virtually every phase of the game. New Soldier Field is really supposed to be "something". Hope somebody in the forum gives us a critique.

I thought about that statement when I typed it, but I'm not really sure GB is so far superior to the Bears. I don't think either team is very good. What do I know though my NFL picks have been crapping the bed.
