Last night was a disaster, but on to winning.. Bama has another cupcake game next week so there is no look ahead. Last week Bama put up 20 points in the first half. Last week Bama also fell in the poles after winning 33-22 over WVU. FAU lost last week to the Huskers 55-7 the huskers are ranked 15th at best .. bama has to win this game by 48 points they will drop like stone in the rankings. ( You know how they know the toothbrush was invented in West Virginia? If it were invented anywhere else, it would be the teethbrush )

Bama had to pay FAU 2 million Dollars to schedule this game , for that much money I think bama will want to light up the score board.. Don’t expect a letdown in this one. Nick Saban will get his players to come out hungry in front of a home crowd and motivated against a lesser team. Next week could be a different story, though, with two straight non-competitive games. Quarterback Jaquez Johnson and cornerback D’Joun Smith were both hurt in the Owls’ loss to Nebraska, and their status is still up in the air. When you are injured , your mental game is not there and you and they lose a day due to traveling. With Saban saying that both Sims and Coker should play in this game.. I saw the look on Cokers face, he want to play last week , and will use this game as an audition to push up his sock ... bama scores 38 in the first half .

Bama will have the services of veteran inside linebacker Trey DePriest this week , who missed the first game due to a one-game NCAA suspension. The Crimson Tide allowed only 28 rushing yards to West Virginia in the season-opener. FAU couldn't run the ball against Nebraska in the first week until the late in the game. Lucky Whitehead is the Owls' only big play threat accounting for the Owls' lone score last week. Quarterback Quez Johnson and cornerback D'Joun Smith injured shoulders against Nebraska and barely practiced this week. If Quez Johnson can't play and Greg Hankerson misses a significant number of plays FAU coaches will be faced with an interesting decision: whether to remove the redshirt from true freshman QB Jason Driskel. Sabin will ask more or his secondary this week after last weeks performance , they will do their best Charles Jefferson's impression infront of home crowd of crimson.
