This is the plight of the elderly living on social security in an inflationary environment.

Yet yesterday I stood in line at Walgreens behind a Dominican girl (undoubtedly illegal) of about 25 years as she used one of the about 10 EBT cards she had in her Iphone wallet compartment to buy three bags of the fanciest candy they sell. Nothing else.

You wonder why Trump has support? That girl doesn't care about tax cuts either.

Agree with your overall premise about illegals/olds/inflation (the hidden tax on the poor as Milton Friedman would say)

But anyone 65+ did have 40 years to save during unprecedented market/housing growth so it isn't like they're innocent in their plight either.
