Last week I went to a Western Union in Carteret NJ,it was a small liquor store! I sent over 500$. The clerk was an Egyptian and he said what are you making a bet? I told him mind your own fuc---g business and send it through, lol! he said I'm the 10th person this morning, sending money to Belize! This place was so small he didn't have a Western Union machine, he had to call it in someplace else, lol! Neefless to say he sent it through, they recieved it in a matter of minutes! No questions asked, No ID, just a smart ass clerk or store owner thats all!

I haven't opened a Neteller account yet, but I guess I'll have to do so.
However, it's far from ideal.

They absolutely DO require an SS# for anyone starting an account. I guess for preexisting accounts they haven't demanded them - at least not yet - although according to Pretending's post above they are demanding them from some preexisting accounts.

They claim that the SS # is to protect against fraud and confirm that one's account is indeed one's account.
This is, of course, utter nonsense, as witnessed by the fact that all (or almost all) of their preexisting accounts are still working fine without the account holders having given the SS#.

They claim that the SS# is only used to identify the holder of the bank account, and is then filed away and given to no one.
But of course this could change at any time. There is no guarantee that they will not at some time in the future provide the IRS with this information.

Also, if one uses Neteller electronic funds transfers (where one deposits in one's bank, then Neteller electronically removes the money and puts it into one's Neteller account) - there is of course a bank record of one's deposits, as well as a bank record of Neteller withdrawing from the account.
These could cause problems in the future.

Also, many financial institutions (and businesses including casinos) are writing SIA's (Suspicious Activity Reports) for cash deposits of as little as $2,000.

Neteller is a good method. Prob not the best of all worlds, but none are. As far as the SSN, I do not worry about it. Life is to short. There are a ton of ways for the IRS to get to us if they want to. Big word = IF.

Good luck
