A pretty good day on Saturday, 2-0 with Texas Tech inching by with the cover and Illinois continuing to kick ass. Some Pre-big dance championships today, ytd 32-15, lets increase that win total:

Kentucky -6.5, I love the way this team is playing right now. They are 9-1 Ats is their last 10 and they were giving points in all 10 of those games. Kentucky has won 10 of their last 12 and 6 of those by double digits. On the other side Florida barely got by Bama and then took advantage of a drained Vandy team that had played their hearts out to beat Miss St. Florida is an underachieving team with an underachieving coach, facing a team that is playing like the number 1 team that they are, and also possessing one of the top coaches in America. Kentucky takes care of business today to lock up the #1 seed in the Southeast bracket.

Illinois Pk, I will ride the Illini again today, they have won their last 12 games and have won 7 of those games by double figures. Wisconsin is coming off a tough game against Mich St., one they are lucky to have won. If Illinois can dictate the speed of play, this game will be in their hands all day. Using their speed and athleticism Illinois will win this one by 5 points, with free throws icing this one at the end.

Lehigh -6.5, They have beaten American once by 5 and again by 21, lets split the difference here and Lehigh wins this one by 8. It seems strange not seeing Holy Cross in this game. The Mountain Hawks roll on to become sacrificial lambs in the big dance.

I have a lean on Duke to mall the Terrapins and secure a 1 seed, but I hesitate. GL everyone and freakout

Just wanted to update my record from yesterday, 33-17 now ytd heading into the touney. I will try to toss some ideas around about the big dance this week, it has been such a long season that this break before the dance will be nice. Lets all end March with a bang and bring on the golf and barbeque season. -freakout

Jaypaw-
I think Texas Tech is going to give that bracket a shake-up. Charlotte v Tech will be a good game, but I think Tech will win. Knight is a master is the tourney. Tech will also upset St. Joe's. There is no one on St. Joe's who can check Emmett, he will dominate. Knight is good at game planning for teams, he will come up with a way to slow Nelson down. Remember Xavier has also given everyone a template on how to beat the Hawks. Uconn I believe will advance to the elite 8, Stanford is just too good, I do not see them being denied a trip to San Antonio. I have to look closer but I like a handful of teams that can make it to San Antonio: Kentucky, Stanford, Pitt, Wake, Duke, Uconn, Ok. State, and my dark horses are UNC and Kansas (great starting 5). I have to do a lot more research, I have not filled out a sheet yet. GL
