Don't think you're going to win your second half wager on the Lions but at least the teaser will fill the hole for you.
The BC Lions offense absolutely stinks!

Man you gotta wonder what Wally is thinking (if he is) at times. I mean why in fuck doesn't he yank this useless qb and put Pierce back in to finish. It's quite obvious he wasn't on in that opening thirty minutes of action but the second half can be a completely different picture on most occasions. In any case, he's waited much too long now and once again he's made an 'ass' of himself.

There's about 3 1/2 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.

Well maybe Wally Buono did use his noggin afterall as he elected to kick a field goal with about 40 ticks remaining in regulation time as opposed to going for it on a 3rd and 10 situation and trailing by 10 points. As it turned out that successful field goal gave the BC Lions, a 4.5 point second half favorite, the second half cover as they outscored the visiting Edmonton Eskimoes 10-3.
The Lions had outscored the Eskimos by four points, just a half point shy of the -4.5 points needed for the cover, before Paul McCallum nailed the 40-yarder to seal the deal.
Congrats to all second half BC Lions backers.
