Clemson -4.5 @ FSU

FSU has had a nasty habit of getting down early in games and then overwhelming less talented teams as the game progresses. They won't be able to do that this week. Clemson is coming off a bye week with everyone back healthy and ready to go. Further, they have the motivation of the loss last year against FSU in a game they were dominating. The teams are both pretty good offensively. The game is really going to come down to Clemson, the 18th ranked passing O, moving the ball in the air against FSU, the 76th ranked passing D.

I don't imagine this one will get out of hand, so we might have to sweat in the 4th. However, when ahead in the 4th, I like Clemsons 7 ranked pass D to be able to make a stop. Clemson by 7.

I agree SC I also like Clemson but by more then 7, double digit win. Watson needs a solid game on prime time TV to keep up with Jackson & Browning in the Heisman race and I expect him to get it.

I think the way to play FSU in the future for big game is to fade them with a 1Q play and then grab them in 2Q and beyond.
