Two teams going in different directions. You could have expected Nebraska to get better as the season went on under new coach Luke Fickell. Well, its happening. Nebraska is running the ball well and stopping the run. That's a recipe for success both on the road and as the temperatures dip. It won't be cold-cold in East Lansing saturday, but it won't be especially pleasant. MSU lost last 6 with none being particularly close except for Rutgers, who was killing them but they got back in the game. Nebraska has won 5 of the last 6 with the only loss against Michigan. Nebraska will make MSU one dimensional with its #6 rushing D but its not like the passing alternative is all that good for MSU and Nebraska isn't bad at defending it. MSU should be able to hang in there with their run D but this will be a game that breaks open in the 4th. Nebraska by 10.
