playing the game under a few different numbers. played under the original 51. took some more at the current number. ill go out on a limb and say this one doesnt play much higher than 42-45. obviously gators have the firepower to make me look silly midway through the third quarter. but i just dont see that happening. alabama stops the run too well that i dont see florida having every play in their book to choose from. if you cant stop the run against florida you are done. but the tide should be able to keep this one close and play their style. all the recent florida opponents have been blitzed early and then the game just snowballs and gets out of control. gators are better. and im admittedly conflicted on who i see covering the number. but a good saban defense taking the field with a total of 50+ and a chip on their shoulder leads me to think that the game plays a TD under the total. alabama has answered every challenge this year and deserves a shitload of respect. while they might not be the best team in the country, the double digit dog tag should add a little fuel to this one.
