SEATTLE SEAHAWKS -250 ML

The difference in these two teams is defense and experiences. Since Week Ten Wilson has completed 71 percent of his passes, averaged 8.8 yards per attempt and tossed 24 touchdowns against one interception. Wilson has shown he can beat defenses in a variety of ways. Lynch returned to practice Monday. A Christine Michael and Lynch backfield will be too much for Minny.

Left tackle Russell Okung and right guard J.R. Sweezy both missed Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Strong safety Kam Chancellor was inactive as well.

Seattle’s road to Super Bowl is a tough one because of it is the NFC’s No. 6 seed. That means the Seahawks would have to win three consecutive road games to make it to Super Bowl. I think they will make a supreme effort in this game.

Vikings take NFC North, hold on to beat Packers 20-13 was a total joke, and gives us better line value. Pack was handed that game with multiple turnovers and they had nothing.

Five weeks ago Seahawks beat the shit out of the Vikings 38-7 . Adrian Peterson was limited to 18 yards on eight carries, the third-lowest single-game total of his career. Vikings needed a 101-yard kickoff return by Cordarrelle Peterson to keep from being blanked. NOTES: This was the lowest yardage total for the Vikings since they had 104 on Dec. 21, 2006 at Green Bay. ... all with starter Lynch out.

Public all over Seattle. Line seems wayyyy too easy. This is gonna be the public onslaught. Vikings win SU.

Seattle beat a saints team several years ago when they was 7-9 in Seattle. Everybody wrote them off that game. What goes around comes around. Vikings are getting wrote off here, playing at home against Seattle. What goes around comes around. Vikings + the points or nothing here.

Minnesota tight end Rhett Ellison has a torn patellar tendon in his right knee that will require surgery, he was a key run blocker and their defense is still without nose tackle Linval Joseph has missed four of the last five games with a toe injury . The offenses that have given Seattle issues this season have featured prolific passing attacks. The Vikings do not fit that description. They have averaged 28.4 passing attempts per game, the fewest in the NFL.

I don't think there is all that much difference in the defenses. I think Seattle's offense is better, you can take the 38-7 game and forget about that. Not saying the Vikings win or cover but they are a much different team than the one that got torched 38-7. They wont give up more than 21 points unless they turn it over deep in own territory or give up a pic 6 or so.

I think the Vikes defense will be better , in the 38-7 game; Wilson picked on two rookies corners in that game, but I think Seattle is a better team now then they were then, with a better O line , better QB protection and Wilson is getting the ball out faster.

Will SEA have a running game this time? There's talk about Lynch playing, but will he be effective? Especially with a forecast high of -2F (-19C) and windy. Last meeting Rawls went off for 101 rush yards. And can Baldwin catch the ball when he can't feel his fingers?

Last meeting MIN defense was missing guys and they saved AP for TNF vs ARZ 4 days later. Only time all year AP had single digit carries (8). That won't happen on Sunday.

According to the official injury report, Adrian Peterson missed practice on Wednesday with a back injury. He suffered the injury during Sunday night’s NFC North championship game against the Packers. Also missing practice for the Vikings on Wednesday were defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis (ankle) and fullback Zach Line (illness). Defensive end Everson Griffen (shoulder) and defensive tackle Linval Jospeh (foot) practiced on a limited basis.

Lynch was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, his first on-field work with the Seahawks since undergoing abdominal surgery in late November and missing the final seven games of the regular season. strong safety Kam Chancellor (pelvis/tailbone), guard J.R. Sweezy (concussion), tackle Russell Okung (calf) and tight end Luke Willson (concussion) are all on track to play this week after missing last week's game with injuries. Chancellor was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, while Sweezy, Okung and Willson were all limited.

Already down Rhett Ellison, their best blocking tight end, the Vikings can’t afford to lose any more run-game muscle heading into Sunday’s NFC wild-card game against Seattle and its No. 1-ranked run defense. So it was a good thing when fullback Zach Line returned to practice today after missing Wednesday’s practice because of an illness.

When teams blitz and pressure Bridgewater he does not know what to do. Still liking my bet.

A hydronic heated field, which replaced the old turf at TCF Bank Stadium last year, will ensure a safe playing surface, and on Sunday will keep the field from freezing.

The field is nice. It stays soft. That’s the important thing,” said Vikings center Joe Berger, who won’t wear sleeves Sunday. “The times that are tough in a cold game is when you go out there and you have a TV timeout and you’re just standing there. If you’re on the bench it’s warm and if you’re moving around you kind of forget about the cold a little bit.”

Wilson on what is the coldest game that he has ever played in: “I don’t remember the degrees. Once it gets below 20 [degrees] it’s all about the same. Obviously going to Wisconsin, we used to practice at night, and Coach Bielema would have us out practicing at night under the lights and stuff like that, and practicing at Camp Randall [Stadium] it used to get pretty cold. I remember a couple times there was snow on the ground and stuff. But I don’t think – weather can’t be a factor, I think the biggest thing is wind and all that. That’s usually the biggest factor in terms of throwing the football and stuff. I think you have to have mental fortitude. You have to be tough, and ultimately it comes down to playing the game, that’s the exciting part.

The weather will affect Bridgewater more then it will Wilson, Bridgewater crumbles under pressure when the pocket collapses. Wilson running ability will give the Seahawks a major advantage even more, the worse the wind factor is.

I'm with you on Seattle but don't think you'll need the ML to win this wager.
Good Luck this weekend.
