Take Atlanta -4 it's a blank cheque, seattle will get utterly crushed....the Seahawks have been awful so many times on the road 3 points at LA, 6 at Ariz, 10 at GB....only a disgraceful call handed seattle the win when Atl went there but both teams are very different now, Even yesterday's game the margin flattered them and were helped by bone head penalties and some bogus calls against a pretty average Lions team. All good QBs have a break through game and this will be Ryan's....will seattle score some points against this Atl D, yeah some but probably in the 17-23 range which won't be nearly enough, Atl win comfortably Seattle have been incorrectly assessed as a contender all year and they'll get exposed

I can't see Atl -4 holding up much longer this week, the Seahawks average a whopping 15.8 points per game on the road this year....this is a team living off past reputations and about to get lit up

Yeah man i have been following the NFL from here since 1991 but its obviously a lot easier now with all the games available live--your Sunday games start early Monday morning our time and run through until around lunch time.

Do a lot of people bet the games ? You guys have bookies there ? I know the hoss racing is really top notch there. I would love to sell everything and move there and teach the Boston accent and Boston left turn to the locals

Seahawks are a veteran team that knew it would make the playoffs and fell into the traps on the road a few times this year, sure.
Wilson was injured but played. He avoided further injury by not running the option. Now that it is playoff time, he is 100%, and the Seahawks will be intense, as they were against Detroit. They did not even have to use Wilson yet as a runner because Rawls was spectacular. He was hurt most of the year and now is primed for the playoffs. Wilson has excellent WR's and tight ends. The OL is their weakest unit but it has jelled and will be OK. They have a great front 7 against the run and pass, strong defensive backs even without Thomas, and a knack for the big play.
Seattle will run the ball down Atlanta's throat and mix in some play action. Their D will hold Atlanta to 20 points. Seattle will score 27 to 30. Take the points with a superior defense and a solid offense.

Betting in Aus is a whole lot easier than for you guys, we not only have online bookies (legal) but also betting shops inside most pubs where you can walk in and bet on just about anything including NFL, yeah apparently from what i have read there is a signnificant amount of money wagered on the NFL in Aus....Aussies love betting on anything! Correct about the horse racing the quality is world class and the crowds at the carnivals are large some days 100,000+

Hve ou watched Seattle's Offense on the road this year?? They have been awful, not a chance they hold ATL to 20 but all good we all have our own opinions

Yes, in general, awful. Though they looked good in winning at New England.

The offense has lacked Wilson's running abilities at away games due to his health. But if he's healthy now...

Seattle is 16-0 SU vs Atlanta home or away since 1976. After losing by 2pts in the Clink last yr and having the unforgettable knock out of the playofffs at home by them? I think they're going to annihilate the Hawks.

Atlanta faced 2 quality teams at home this year. Beat GB by 1, lost to KC by 1. Makes me a bit wary to lay many points with ATL.

Seattle's defense can be beaten and Atlanta has the offense to do it.
Coaching/Experience advantage to Seattle.
Rest/Home Field/Offense/Kicking advantage to Atlanta.

Gotta think the Falcons offense will work over that Seattle defense and the Seahawks offense just not able to consistently keep up

They only won by 2 its at the Clink vs ATL.

Seattle loses to the Saints, beats the Patriots and then loses to both the Bucs and the Packers on the road. Basically the Pats are the only worthwhile team they beat. Everyone else on the road wasn't a great win. If anyone knows that team? Dan Quinn knows them. It'll be close. Teams that played away and lost by less than 3 and are now home in the playoffs are 5-2 SU. Sea may well cover the 4.5 but winning will be difficult...

Just to set the record straight, Seattle did not beat Atlanta on a disgraceful call...i assume you are talking about the Sherman/Julio play at the end? On that play Julio Jones grabbed Sherman's facemask coming off the line, it was blatant hands to the face and not called, so for you to ask for a nickel-dimer PI call on a deep 4th and long pass is beyond ludicrous

While I agree Seattle's WR's aren't elite, Doug Baldwin might be an exception...he is one of the most underrated WR's in the league imo - many a defensive back have remarked that they haven't seen any quicker in and out of breaks...they need a true #1 WR with size though (Mike Williams would be nice), as Baldwin is more of the shifty slot type
