Most likely I would be in if it was $300 or higher. Less then this amount would not make capping and entering games worth it for such a long season.

FWIW, my suggestions.

*Hope there would be range of games, not required to enter daily.

*No different unit amounts. If units allowed, there would be "all in" in final week on big dogs to catch up.

*Last place gets a prize. This will add entertainment value for posters struggling in first couple months.

*1/2 way season winners (very small %)

*Prefer no sportsbook interaction so we dont have rollover prizes.

IN, if we could gamble with 100% of the entry.

Otherwise I'd prob be donating to some good cappers.

I Would Rather Not Have A Book Involved Simply Because I Would Prefer No Rollover.

Possible when I see details established, would probably need to see something book matched to create an overlay and justify doing it that way. Not expecting a post up and yours to play with deal, that should get you 100 players easily.

just for the taste of it "diet coke" 8 cans a day

I will be in 300-500 entry is a good amountI can't do any worse than I did in the nfl contest. Will there be a sponsor from a sportsbook for this?

I will play, i am game for the $500 fee.

Why not have a 1/2 season contest so we can all start again after the ALL-Star break for another contest for the people who are already out of it

With MLB right around the corner , we're looking to get a good season long MLB contest similar to the NFL Pick 4 contest, no gimmicks, props, team of the week etc...just capping the games...

Choptalk and myself are in, anyone seriously interested sign in, and also let me know what would be a good post up for this contest...another issue, since baseball is everyday, is the amount of selections and lines we will use.

Jman, I would think that a contest similar to the one going on in the HOCKEY room right now would be good.....

MINIMUM 150 plays....

NO MAX...

You have to have a max, otherwise you would have the people that are losing betting every game on the board to try to catch up.

This needs to simulate real life betting as much as we can.

No Alternate runlines like St Louis +1.5 -500 vs Colorodo or any BS like that.

i agree on no alternative run-lines, but the normal run-lines should be allowed. that's a big part of the baseball-betting and only makes the contest more realistic.

i would also suggest to put up a max and min number of plays per week to prevend leaders not to pick at all in the end or to have blind picking of all games, which also makes it more difficult to track.

i found out during the nfl-contest..that the max number of 4 forced everybody to be very selective with the plays, which might have led to the very good results.
