Sea Ice Ends Year at Same Level as 1979

Rapid growth spurt leaves amount of ice at levels seen 29 years ago.

Thanks to a rapid rebound in recent months, global sea ice levels now equal those seen 29 years ago, when the year 1979 also drew to a close.
Ice levels had been tracking lower throughout much of 2008, but rapidly recovered in the last quarter. In fact, the rate of increase from September onward is the fastest rate of change on record, either upwards or downwards.

If the planet earth won't play its part in the globul warming scam then they'll just have to repackage it in another form.

Hopefully a more sensible approach, with far less reliance on junk science can set us on the right path.


The last I heard, we needed 3-4 planet earths to sustain everyone at the lifestyle level I enjoy in the west.

They already did: Climate Change and Extreme Weather. Sea Ice grew at that fastest rate of change on record, clear evidence of Climate Change. Snow storms in Washington, clear evidence of Extreme Weather events due to Climate Change.

Now they can't be proven wrong, as a change in either direction is evidence of climate change, and any major weather event is evidence of "extreme weather" caused by climate change. (And if there where an unusual lack of major weather events they'd call that evidence too!)
