Did anyone here, who considers himself a sharpy, play SF to win TODAY?

tHE REASON I ask is because it was soo obvious Alou was going to be resting virtualy is whole starting line up. I'm certainly no sharpy, but I knew this well before the starting line ups were out. Yet, SD was still being offered at +165 or better at most books- by gm time the line did plummet to around +110. But I would like to know why ANYONE would still think there is value here in playing SF?

I should add, even tho I loved SD here at +165, I still couldn't bring myself to put down more than 1 unit (+165). Their road record is scary bad...

8th inning, 7-3 SD winning

Games not over yet. I have padres too. But ain;t over till its over.

Check out the bases forum and check out TRK's MLB Challenge. He keeps record for everyone who wants to be tracked.

Some very good cappers there. There are even some that are in the black for the baseball season!

Strutt, thnks for the link.

MadCapper, but my question was: Who would play SF today? The opening line was absurd! Did all the money played on SF come in as scalps?

does this same theory hold true in tomorrow's fla-atl game. Atlanta clinched division with Marlin loss today, do they rest some of the regulars?
