The FBI has released the picture and name of a man wanted for questioning in the New York City bombing on Saturday.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 28-year-old Khan Rahami are being asked to contact police immediately. He should not be approached, as he is considered armed and dangerous.

Twenty-nine people were injured Saturday night when a pressure-cooker bomb exploded inside a dumpster in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.

Surveillance video reportedly shows the same man dropping off a bomb on that street, as well as another street where an unexploded IED was later found.

The bombing in Chelsea was just one of three bombings that have happened over the weekend.
Earlier Saturday, a pipe bomb detonated at a military charity run in Seaside Park, New Jersey.

And Sunday night, pipe bombs were found inside duffel bags at the Elizabeth, New Jersey train station.

Neither of the New Jersey bombs caused any injuries, but one of the devices in Elizabeth did startle police when a bomb robot cut a wrong wire, causing the device to explode early Monday morning.

Law enforcement are currently searching through an apartment in Elizabeth in connection to the New Jersey incidents. The apartment is above a First American Fried Chicken restaurant where law enforcement say a man and his sons live.

On Sunday, a car full of five armed men was pulled over near the Verrazano-Narrows bridge, headed for JFK airport. Those five men are believed to be from the same family and were taken to the FBI building in Manhattan for questioning.

In an interview on CNN Monday morning, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said that the bombs have similarities suggesting 'there might have been a common linkage'.

He added that he 'wouldn't be surprised if' the investigation 'zeroes in on a particular individual' and he 'wouldn't be surprised if we found a foreign connection to the act

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio a Democratic shit hole who like all democrats could not call it what it was. Terrorism.

Explosive Language: Call the New York Bombing Terrorism Already

By Micah Halpern09/18/16 3:48pm

Unlike the powers-that-be charged with running New York City, you and I can be realistic. Intentionally placing two live bombs set to explode and intended to commit mass murder in a populated center of the most recognized city in the United States is terror. It does not matter if the perpetrator is part of a group or a lone wolf, it doesn’t matter if you are fighting for Islam or animal rights or if you are an anarchist. The definition is plain and simple. Using violence or the threat of violence to achieve a political end is terror.

The only time it is not called terror is when you want to keep the masses calm. Then you rely on antiquated definitions by the FBI and Justice Department. But those days are long gone.

When the bomb injuring dozens of people exploded in Chelsea on Saturday night and a second unexploded bomb was discovered a few blocks away, New York City’s Mayor De Blasio said it was “intentional,” but he added “there is no evidence at this point that there is a terror connection.” He also said that “there was no credible specific threat to New York.”

Our democratically elected leaders insist on hanging on to the misconception that it is not terror if the perpetrators are not part of an organized, recognized, terror group. And in New York City right now, they are sticking to that story.

NYC is always a high-profile target. In the mindset of terrorists, 9-11 is a very important day to commemorate. An attack within a week of 9-11, an attack within easy walking distance of ground zero, fits the criteria of a perfectly targeted and perfectly timed attack for all terrorists loosely or more organizationally affiliated with the ideology of ISIS or al Qaeda. Not to mention that the area was given wide public attention when candidate Hillary Clinton left the 9-11 Memorial to recuperate at her daughter Chelsea’s apartment—which is located in the Chelsea neighborhood.

Our leaders want to package terrorists into nice neat boxes. So they conclude that if a terrorist is not a member of a terror group the violent act they perpetrate is not considered terror.

Lone wolves or small groups by their nature do not communicate with a central command, and they are difficult to detect and monitor. ISIS and al Qaeda know this all too well. That’s why they have repeatedly said that they no longer want recruits to travel to Syria and Iraq to fight. ISIS and al Qaeda say that followers will be more effective if they attack in their homeland. And their message is being heard. It has been the model in Europe and now in the United States.

Our leaders want to package terrorists into nice neat boxes. So they conclude that if a terrorist is not a member of a terror group the violent act they perpetrate is not considered terror. The obvious example is the terror at Fort Hood, officially classified as workplace violence.

Even more poignant is the Orlando terrorist. The perpetrator was actually on the phone with local media bragging that he was part of ISIS and explaining that his actions were motivated by a need to defend Islam. He even repeatedly chanted the Islamic terrorist battle cry: “Allahu Akbar.” Yet, the US Attorney General still responded by saying “We may never really know the motivation behind the attack.”

Unlike the AAA—ISIS does not issue membership cards nor do they vet people. All they ask is that you watch their videos, read their material and share it with others. The multimedia platforms give prospective terrorists all the tools one needs to self organize and to create the bombs and plans necessary to perpetrate an attack. That is all the Boston Marathon bombers had at their disposal when they planned and carried out their horrific attack.

This notion of membership in a terror organization is pre-World Wide Web and certainly pre-Black Web.

No one has yet to claim credit for the attack that shook Chelsea. But someone will, or maybe more than one person or group, eager to get on the terrorist bandwagon will. Even if it turns out that this is not Islamic terror—it is still terror.

That’s a reality we have to live with—even if our leaders won’t.

[h=6]- SEPTEMBER 19, 2016 -[/h][h=1]STATEMENT ON WHITE HOUSE MINIMIZING THE ISIS THREAT[/h]
“When The White House Says We Are In A ‘Narrative Fight’ Against ISIS Just Days After A Series Of Apparent Terror Attacks On U.S. Soil We Should All Be Very Concerned.” – Jason Miller

“When the White House says we are in a ‘narrative fight’ against ISIS just days after a series of apparent terror attacks on U.S. soil we should all be very concerned. For the U.S. troops in Iraq and Syria who are on the front lines against ISIS, it’s a real fight where we’ve lost real lives. Diminishing the threat the Obama Administration has allowed to materialize on its watch puts us all at risk and is another reminder that we need new leadership in the fight against radical Islamic terrorism. Hillary Clinton has backed President Obama’s failed ISIS strategy to the hilt, and voters should know whether she too shares the White House’s troubling assessment of the situation.” – Jason Miller, Senior Communications Advisor

Rahami is pictured above in two other mugshots. He is about 5'6" tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He has brown hair, eyes and facial hair

Surveillance video reportedly shows the same man dropping off a bomb on that street, as well as another street where an unexploded IED was later found.
After dropping off a duffel bag at the second location on 27th street, two other men are seen taking a white garbage bag out of the duffel bag and placing it on the street. It's believed that the trash bag contained the second pressure cooker bomb. Authorities refused to say whether the two men were associated with the first man caught on surveillance footage.

In custody, apprehended in Linden NJ

Unfortunately can't be tortured.

If you don't kill them then they enjoy massive court celebrity status, and may even end up on the cover of Rolling Stone.

Costs involved in prolonged court cases and life internment.

Better kill em than bring them in.

I heard the feds who read this board have hired 3 different voices to transcribe 10,000 posts made by Ace, Vit, and Joe toward each other into 20 hours of recordings. Terrorists will now be left alone in a room into which the recordings will be piped at high volume. When the terrorist has had all he can take he can ring a bell to indicate he is ready to surrender his associates, handlers, and plot details. Supposedly Dave007 has a picture of this bell which he received with the purchase of a bucket of "First American Fried Chicken." Dave?

I didn't. I missed Jacksonville. Would rather I HIT Jacksonville and MISSED that!

Vit you wouldn't like these recordings. Everyone is monotone, like they are reading a menu.
There's no passion in the guy's voice when he says, "You are so dumb it's surreal." Then another guy says, "It doesn't matter if what I post is false" like he doesn't even care. I suspect all 3 voices are Mantis actually. But hey, if we can't tortue terrorists this is the next best thing.

I have no witty retort to offer. I will however say that I'm not fond of chicken
and in those rare times when I do imbibe it's the hottest of wigs, the kind that
sets ones ass ablaze the next morning.
