Martinez has been critical of Trump and did not attend his Tuesday night rally at a convention center in Albuquerque, telling the local media she was “really busy” running the state. In turn, Trump stood before thousands of the people she represents and told them that the two-term governor is to blame for many of the state’s economic problems, including a dramatic increase in the number of residents receiving food stamps over the past 16 years.
“We have got to get your governor to get going,” Trump said to a cheering audience. “She’s got to do a better job. Okay? Your governor has got to do a better job. She’s not doing the job. Hey! Maybe I’ll run for governor of New Mexico. I’ll get this place going. She’s not doing the job. We’ve got to get her moving. Come on: Let’s go, governor.”

no need to attack a popular Hispanic woman Governor, no need to further alienate two demographics you should be trying to win over at this point, no need to try and divide your base, I see nothing good coming out of this sort of behavior

this is going to be a battle of who's warts are worse, and liberals are better at that game because they love their warts, their enablers, their sexual predators and their failures

republicans will turn their back on candidates with issues, like Poppy in 92 and Stevenson in 2008 and Craig (whenever he was caught in a stall)

if the GOP runs a candidate that excites their base across the boards, it would be a landslide just like it has been every time an African American isn't on top of the democratic ticket (2010 & 2014)

We don't know what we're getting with President Trump.

When Trump makes comments like that I just assume he woke up one morning and said to himself "Holy shit if I keep this up I'm going to be President in a few months." and then goes into self-sabotage mode. He did this a ton in the primaries. The day he basically locked it all up in Indiana, he was saying Cruz dad was tight with Oswald based on a National Enquirer report.

But he always does recover. Who knows.....

Maybe his team reached out to her to be there and she said no? Trump's fuse is short.

Her approval rating is 54%. I actually thought it was higher, hear about her a lot.
