Carmelo has proven time and time again that a dollar is not always a dollar. If you dont play defense, you aint worth that dollar you want others to think you are.
He's an okay coach and nothing more. It take a special coach to win the NBA with a small market team. My main complaint with Brooks was too many cookie cutter lineups and the inability to adjust.

To me, that's why he's the MVP. Look at the injuries Hou had this season. I mean pretty much the entire starting lineup minus Harden has been out for extended periods this year. Without Harden they are hoping their ping pong ball comes out #1.
