Surprised that more offshore sportsbooks do not send out complimentary sports schedule books.....either of the DB variety or homemade types like OLY.

ps-Kudos to OLY for this service.

I get from WWTS, some idiot called Jim Feist and Olympic.

The one from Olympic is the only one I ever asked for and it's the only one that I don't throw out right away.

The reasons that sportsbooks offshore don't send more schedules out the following:

1) It is not cost effective due to yahoo companys ripping the books off. Vegas Offshore (supposedly located in Atanta Georgia) is the worst ever. MVP uses this so-called outfit..and it's a JOKE! 2nd Friday in October, I recieved MVP's PRE-SEASON book, then a week later, I got their Sept issue. Now here it is Dec and you can kiss Oct & Nov plus Dec schedules adios..feel sorry for the cappers that they promote also even though some would say they deserve it, they are not fairly being represented in schedules with offers that expire before the clients get them.

2) Don Best charges $2000 per grid and it again is not cost effective for the books to pay for the grids, do the layouts and get them printed and shipped.

The fact of the matter is, legit companies have a tough time convincing the books to buy into their schedules when they have been conned many times before.

I know...even with low print costs, ad rates and distribution costs, the offshore books are skeptical of a really good sounding deal.

I know all of this first hand...and it is a sad aspect of business. Unless they changed printers, the same company that does Oylmpics schedules here in Vegas is the same that prints ours.

Good Day to you all
