er - make that "self promoting advertisements disguised as articles".

This sc*mb*g is the director of an offshore sportsbook. Meanwhile, he's allowing a stateside boiler room to use his name to sell sports picks.

So he's either an incompetent bookmaker, since the lines he makes as a sportsbook director can be beaten, or he's a dishonest scamdicapper.
Either way, it lowers the RX's status to post "articles" by this fraud.

(He carried on this same fraud when he was the Mirage's sportsbook director. Somehow they let him get away with scamdicapping ads while he was the Mirage's sb director.
So again - he was either an incompetent bookmaker for the Mirage, since the ads said he could beat the Vegas lines, or he was a lying scamdicapper, since his lines at the Mirage - if they were good - could not be beaten. I assume these ads caused him to be fired from that job.
Either way, he's more sc*m from the Jim Feist scamdicapper stable to be avoided like the plague).
Why does the Rx post "articles" by this lowlife?

Pee Wee - Thought our readers would be interested in what it takes to start a new sports book and a little about the people and surrounding area. We would not post an "article" that would have anything to do with promoting someone's boiler room selection service. This was purely a factual article I felt the RX readers would enjoy hearing.

I enjoyed the article. I don't think everything he writes is great, but frankly it is more indepth that most of what is published here. And this piece in particular was a good read.

Jimmy V needs to address this issue. I have a feeling it was'nt him who told the "mark" that he hit 90% last year on his super duper plays. If it was'nt him he needs to denounce the slime that is using his name to hook suckers.

GBM, I HAVE HEARD CONFLICTING REPORTS ON THIS GUY. SOME SAY IT WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING, WHILE OTHERS SAID HE COLLUDED WITH GAMBLERS LIKE BILLY WALTERS IN SCAMMING THE MIRAGE. I AM NOT CERTAIN WHICH IS THE CASE. I DO KNOW, HOWEVER, THAT GUYS LIKE THE OWNER OF HOLLYWOOD AND SEVERAL OTHERS IN THE OFF-SHORE BUSINESS SAY GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE GUY, SO I THINK WE NEED MORE INFO BEFORE PULLING A MAJOR WAGER AND THROWING HIM TOTALLY UNDER THE BUS.

The guy wrote an article. Was it good or bad? That is what he shoudl be graded on here. I am sure he has as many friends as enemies.

Exactly, Chuck Sims. He wrote an article, and the Rx published it.
Is he a dishonest scamdicapper?

Hey, who cares? What's the difference?

As I pointed out in my original post, this attitude doesn't lend any credibility to this site.

Tune in next week, when Charlie Therwanger will start contributing articles about his new sportsbook.

Some of the people of Ozone Park, Queens, NY, used to praise a local guy, because he would pay for an annual 4th of July fireworks display.

So what if John Gotti was a mass murderer?
He should've been judged as to whether it was a good fireworks exhibition or not. Nothing else was relevant, of course.

I'm sure he had as many friends as enemies. (I'm not sure why I'm sure of this - but I'm sure). So why bother to evaluate?

Point Taken. You got an opinion and then others have one too. Some are right, some are wrong. Depends on who you ask.

All opinions should be respected.

Thanks for all the info on Jimmy V via this discussion but especially the links.......they paint a pretty scary picture.
Jimmy V's bullcrap is very convincing on his webpage and when I've run across his picks on the web they seemed to be quite good BUT no doubt honest "pro" cappers are very rare.

Bottom line there is no such thing as a sure thing in wagering. It is tough enough to beat the juice then to pay an advising fee on top of that just doesn't make sence unless you have money to burn.
........enough of this ........time to find a real SUPER DUPER LOCK OF THE CENTURY for today.
