True enough. Any program would require a fail-safe design, where unexpected results lead to a missed opportunity rather than an incorrect play. You picked up on the other part as well - you'll need to know how various sites respond as things "change". Some are more likely to pull the rug out from under you, other more forgiving. These characteristics would be written into the program.

I do the same thing you do with making your bet a better price because of the poetential scalp and I too beleive that greatly improves your bottim line with bases. (Not quite betting 5k but more like $500 for me
