If one would like to learn some unique inside techniques into middling and scalping, would highly recommend a sitdown with Fishhead over a couple beers on the subject.

I had it sided for a bunch on 16 so I was irritated. I hate not being home for the morning moves during the week! And I almost speculated on this one last night at -13 too!

Oh well, go Dallas by 4 or 5 and total 198 or 197!

Just scalping baseball this year has netted my account 2.66% thus far this season. Figure if I can get 2% every week of the baseball season, that's the equivalent of a 54 "unit" winning for the year. I scalp between about 5 different books and VERY rarely take leads. Examples of taking leads though... when there's two big name pitchers on the mound, the o/u will always drop... Or if you know the wind is blowing in in Wrigley Field... Or if you're good enough to know of a pitching change before the books do (like yesterday when Cincy changed their pitcher... I got in on a lead because my friend who was at the game called and informed me... MASSIVE scalp). But those are the only situations I take leads in. Aside from that, all of the work is done for me by the other books. The more books, the better.

Case in point, last night when I saw Big Unit vs. Arroyo at o/u 9.5, I knew the line would drop from there. I took the lead on under 9.5 at -108 and can now get over 9.5 +115 or higher in other places. Easy cash just triggered by looking at opening lines and lines periodically throughout the day. Doesn't take all day to sit down and search for if you just follow that logic.

Thanks Fishhead! One of my buddies got me into the idea after seeing how easy it was with opening lines in college football... and since baseball is known as the "king of scalps" I figured I'd give it a shot for the season. It's slow money, but money is money... and it's certainly better than the alternative in gambling....

guru,

do you go to Florida State?

I graduated from there

psssst- do you have an e-mail list for FSU grads who want your AFL picks before the line goes up 8 points after you release them?

But you earn a lot more, and get down much more if you do sit down all day, in front of the screen. If you are willing to work overnights and put in 12-14 hour days, it is the closest thing to sure money in the business. A scalper's paradise. When I need money, I scalp bases...OF

Great posts Guru...:digit:

Not sure how you took advantage of that, unless you were using some Euro book(s) that will remain nameless.

If you're using the normal books that most people use, your bets either got cancelled (if they Were Listed Pitchers) or adjusted (if they were Action).

Mr. Smith--

Yep, FSU sophomore and damn proud of it! I'm a college kid... Of course I have nothing better to do than scalp baseball games! Sorry, no email list though... lol

Halifax--

One of those European books that remain nameless is the key... I was one up on those already after reading all of the rules.

I wish I knew how to scalp baseball games in college! If you make $20 on a scalp, for a poor college student, thats a lot of money.

the job market in Tallahassee sucks too. very hard to find a job and thus the local companies pay like crap. the only time I worked there I looked for a month then landed a job as a busboy at $6 an hour and one free meal per shift. I was damn glad to have that job since minimum wage was about $4.50 an hour then and many/most students had jobs that paid that. And the free meal ( it was a pretty nice place) is no trifling affair to a college student either! Some good food to eat for once, and free.

scalping beats a part-time job for a student!
