Glad I stayed away yesterday and did not play the two I was leaning towards. I don't think I will say anything at all any more about leans or games that I don't play. They lost and while I'm glad I didn't play them I don't want to sway any one else's decision and hurt them if I'm 100% confident in my play. On that note lets have a great day today!

Auburn -1 - First, Bruce Pearl is the new coach for Auburn and guess where he coached the last 5 years. Thats right, Tennessee. Tennessee is 7-0 against Auburn in the last 5 seasons and that all came under the coaching of Pearl. These teams are both higher scoring offensive minded teams that are fairly equivalent, but I think Pearl does absolutely everything he can to make sure his team gets this game for him. Better believe he had this one circled on his calendar. Auburn has lost 3 out of the last four games but all against good teams and away from home in the Hawaii tourney. They haven't played a game since Christmas day and haven't played a home game since 12/15. Bruce Pearl has had days to prepare his team for this game and I'm betting they are itching to get back in that home arena and show the Volunteers some revenge for their coach. The home crowd should be loud today I'm hoping. Also, Tennessee has had some quality games but all 5 games (2 away and 3 on N court) they have suffered a loss. This team does not defend the post play well and hasn't figured quite figured out how to play away from home. I'm playing a different angle here today as I think these couple things and the little extra motivation from Bruce Pearl to get this one for him will make the difference.

Good Luck guys!

BYU -9.5 - BYU comes into this game 0-4 away from home but three of the four of these losses have come against good teams like Utah, Colorado, St. Marys and the last to LBSU which probably has had one of the toughest schedules so far. BYU is ranked inside the top 60 in four out of the five major offensive categories and can score some points. Meanwhile Pacific ranks 224th or lower in four out of the five top defensive categories and they have not played anybody. BYU is not the greatest defensive team in the world however Pacific's offense ranks 210th or lower in four out of the five major offensive categories playing the same nobodies. The difference in schedules for these two teams has been night and day and BYU has still found a way to go 6-4ats. Pacific is only 3-3 at home and 4-7ats. I think BYU gets a dd win here and we don't sweat it too much.

Providence -17 - Fade Fade Fade St Johnnies. I mentioned the other day I would be betting against them frequently this year and this is another one of those times. Providence at home is very tough and St. Johns I just don't think has the offense to compete here today. Providence comes into this game beating Evansville, Rhode Island, Arizona, BC, UMass and Butler. This is a large spread and that makes me nervous but I like the fact that St. Johns is 0-1 away from home with not much experience coming into a tough place where Providence is 8-0. Providence is also 8-5ats this year while St. Johns is 3-7. This spread may be a bit large but I'm going to continue to fade the Johnnies who start 5 players from 5 different countries as that must be hard to groove and play together with different styles. Last thing I noticed that I like is getting a home favorite that the public is only 40% on.

Thanks for the thoughts grace. I'm all over BYU with another larger than appropriate bet. Good luck with Providence. It is a scary line. I am afraid of the Johnnies starting to gel at some point. Staying away from this game completely. I think they will definitely become good again in the future as Mullins should be able to find quality stars within NYC willing hungry to play for him.

Could be a good decision to stay off that game guys I won't lie. I'm taking a chance with this one. I have one more game I found that I wanted to share before I go into food tasting.

Kansas -12 - Both of these teams come into this game ranked inside the top 100 in almost every category which is astonishing. However, I think the books might be overlooking one thing. Baylor has played one team away from home at Texas A&M and they got rolled by 19. The only other team that Baylor has played that is even worth noting is Vanderbilt and they won by 2 pts at home. That too me is not a true tested team by any means and until they can show me that they deserve to ranked I will not believe it. Kansas has won this matchup 8 of the last ten times against better Baylor teams imo and they themselves are possibly a better team this year. While they haven't played as many tough games as I would like to see they did play the same Vandy team on a neutral court and won by 7. At home in the conference opener I think Kansas make a statement and cover this spread. The Bears have a good front court but that should be matched today. Again, another home fave that the public is fading.

I'm in and out myself, doing some grounds repair for my mother, but put up your thoughts. Leaning Tenn St. hard in that one and really like Elon.
