Well I couldn't pull the trigger on the O's , I was this close (puts finger and thumb within an inch of each other) playing Balto - 1.5 but felt they may not be swinging well enough right now, plus they don't do too well vs lefties, so i played it UND first 5 innings, the reason is it is the hottest day of the year here in Md and the pitchers may wear down after about 5 innings...So I am still riding Bedard who has been on fire but in a different way, I am expecting both teams to have trouble scoring , but the heat may catch up to both pitchers so I played the under 5 first 5.

:smoking: J-man....seriously.....im telling you your run will come, but it will never come trying to throw haymakers at the wrong time....scale back and when you put together a couple + nights in a row up the ante.....just focus for now on putting a couple of + nights together and thats it.....nothing more nothing less......the nba beat me for the first time in well cant remember when and I scaled back and waited for the + nights to become more frequent......and they really didnt. It was just one of those years, but damn am i glad i reeled it in......

Just keep plugging away. What would happen if you do drop the 20 or so units today would be that you would stop and than get the itch again in a few weks and than you are giving youself a bigger hole to climb out of.
Just take a deep breath and focus a little harder before you "pull" the trigger on a bet. It seems to work for me beleive it or not.
I have noticed when I slow down and talk a bet thru in my head I seem to win. Good Luck

thanks NBA...I wouldn't call these bets haymakers,lol...I have thrown my share of them, these are basic plays....I've been waiting for a run for over a month...I can live with it , if this is how '06 is going to go down.

Thanks Ice, I really have tried everything though...I'm not a fly by night-wing it kind of player though...I do put a lot of time into each game I bet , believe it or not.
I jacked it in after bleeding Units all through June and starting into July. Before Me was Chopstick, McIrish and others who are more experienced to say why. As a seasoned Punter I find baseball riddled with reasons why its got to be the worse betting proposition going and anyone who thinks different hasnt a clue about the fundamentals of Betting. Maybe it was a good game, but certainly not on what I've seen. :drink:
I stopped long ago with the baseball. I could tell back then this was not the year for my way of playing as NO lead was safe in ANY games. Did manage to quit about 20 units winner for the season.
As ALL along i told people that baseball is without a doubt the toughest sport to try to beat. Even made some mad when i mentioned that ALL Chalkplayers are dead, some just not stinking as of yet.
J-Man if you are thinking about quitting until the CFB season, then just do it and save that 2k for something that is MUCH better than baseball ever is or was!
