This first statement will say it all about the demise of the Ville. Last year BC was a 20 point pup when they visited Kentucky and came away with a 45-42 victory. Behind 272 RY and 4 TDs for RB Dillon (ankle, questionable for this game), the Eagles soared to the high-scoring upset. That’s a part of the Cards recent 6-15 ATS slide including 1-5 ATS this season. Last week Louisville was absolutely trampled by the GA Tech option as they were outrushed 542-113 in a 66-31 loss. QB Pass has emerged as the starter in the QB battle. He continues to struggle, however, with just 55% C and a 6/7 ratio. Those numbers won’t improve against the Top 20 pass defense of the Eagles. The running numbers say BC may well repeat last week’s defeat by Louisville yet much of that depends on the status of RB Dillon, which will be determined later in the week. In the meantime, take solace in the fact that the Eagles have soared to a record of 10-1 ATS as Conference chalk.
