This opened at -6 for Florida and has fallen significantly, presumably because South Carolina starting QB Ryan Hilinski will be active while Florida will be without both of its key pass rushers in Jon Greenard and Jabari Zuniga. That hurt the Gators last week at LSU when they expected them to play, but I don't think that will be as much of an issue with time to plan otherwise. Florida is far better offensively than South Carolina, and its defense was one of the best in the nation until it met LSU. UF is outscoring opponents 119-38 in the second half and 64-14 in the fourth quarter. SoCar is being overvalued after upsetting Georgia. Take advantage and take the Gators at the reduced number.

The Gamecocks are over valued after an huge upset win over Georgia last week. I make that Gators -6 favorites on the road in South Carolina and expect them to bounce back after the loss to LSU. Lay it with the road favorite.

Florida might be tempted to overlook South Carolina after a tough couple of weeks against Auburn and LSU but then South Carolina went and beat Georgia at home. Now any thought of Florida looking past the Gamecocks is gone. Florida will likely be without its two best defensive linemen but I still trust Florida DC Todd Grantham to come up with a gameplan that gives a hobbled true freshman QB trouble. On the other side of the ball, Florida’s offense just keeps getting better. Florida wins by at least a touchdown.

Let’s forgive Florida’s defense for getting strafed last Saturday by LSU. The Gators’ D remains daunting, and freshman South Carolina QB Ryan Hilinski has much more to worry about than his slightly injured knee. The Gamecocks could face a football hangover after knocking off Georgia a week ago. Florida is in a different boat, coming off a defeat in which its offense showed considerable improvement.

The youthful Gamecocks showed their talent level and potential with last week's massive upset of Georgia. But their relative inexperience also has come with a predictable trait of inconsistency. The win over Georgia is probably saving us at least two points in this line. look for Florida, coming off its first loss of the season at LSU, to withstand some early resistance from South Carolina and pull away for the cover.

South Carolina is coming off a huge upset of Georgia, but the Gamecocks offense did not play well in the game. This week it will be going up against another tough defense. I have a hard time seeing South Carolina doing much damage with or without Ryan Hilinski, but its defense is good enough to slow down Florida, so the spread is a little tricky. I think the Under is the smarter play.

Both teams are coming off of emotional rollercoaster-type games. Sometimes that emotion, both positive and negative, can spill over into the following game. The Gators played well enough to beat LSU and come into this matchup still eyeing the SEC East title, with hope for a potential rematch. Plus, South Carolina's QB, Ryan Hilinski, may miss the game due to a concussion suffered last week against Georgia. Take the Gators.

The Gamecocks are the darlings of the college football world after upsetting Georgia, but Florida now knows not to take them likely. Quarterback Kyle Trask was awesome in the loss to LSU in Death Valley, and coach Dan Mullen will take that experience and build off of it. South Carolina will get quarterback Ryan Hilinski back, but how healthy will he be? Can he have success against this Gators defense? I don't think so.

No.Illinois has had this game circled on their calendar! Last season they were 6-0 in their conference heading into

the Miami,Oh game. They completely dominated the stats in that contest, but a Pick 6 at the end of the game

handed them a 13-7 loss. Miami only recorded 2 field goals on offense with 200 total yards to No.Illinois 370 yards

of offense. No.Illinois this year had to play 3 tough opponents on the road from the major conferences - Utah,

Nebraska, Vandy. As a result they are only 2-4 SU so far on the season. Miami also had 3 tough road games,

but not in consecutive weeks - Iowa, Cinci, Ohio St. They too are only 2-4 on the season. The Huskies are highly

motivated from last year's loss, and they come into this game with momentum from last week's tough road win over

Ohio U. This will be their 5th road game out of the past 6, but they are 15-1 ATS following an upset win over a

conference rival as an underdog. Miami is only 1-8 ATS after failing to cover the spread in 2 out of their past 3 games.

In the Huskies past 3 games they rushed for over 100 yards in all 3 with an average of 141 rushing yards per game.

They have passed for over 235 yards per game in all 6 games and average 279 yards per game thru the air.

Miami's offense has struggled with only averaging 100 yards per game on the ground and 154 thru the air.

On defense they have given up an average of 205 yards per game on the ground. In their 2 conference games they

gave up on the ground 309 to Buffalo and 173 to W.Michigan. Huskies are 40-17 ATS vs. poor rushing defenses

that allow at least 4,75 yards/carry. No.Illinois has a well balanced offense and should be able to

Easily Handle Miami today!

NO. ILLINOIS WINS TODAY BY 14 … 31-17.
