±In the NFC Divisional Round, in the last four years there's been one game decided by more than eight points. I'm aware of the Vikings having short rest and traveling - that's factored in. What isn't factored in is a healthy Dalvin Cook. He had three weeks of no contact, and Minnesota shut it down after the Chargers win, when the 49ers beat the Rams, clinching them a playoff berth.. In fact, in the four losses Minnesota had with Cook active, only one, against the Bears in September, was by more than a touchdown. Minnesota has a better PPG defense, Minnesota has a better PPP defense. Garoppolo hasn't made a playoff start. He threw 13 picks, Cousins threw six. Last week was the first time all season the Vikings caught more than a touchdown. They won the game outright in one of the toughest stadiums to win at. This week they're catching seven against an inexperienced QB in a less hostile environment. And here's one. Since late October the 49ers have been favored by more than a FG five times and failed to cover --- all five times. I'm taking the Vikings and the points. It now looks like Thielen is going to play, which I expected. My only concern is that since I bet this it seems everyone likes Minnesota, which doesn't always end well. The work said Vikings.
