DETROIT TIGERS +1.5 (-135)
Nate Robertson is still trying to come back from elbow problems that has caused him to miss significant action over the last couple years. He has done well in his rehab starts and is trying to get back to where he was a few years ago for a Detroit team that made it all the way to the World Series. He's going up against a Rays team that seems a bit demoralized after the Scott Kazmir trade. It was not something that the players were expecting, and this type of thing has the potential to have a detrimental effect, especially on a young team. That, coupled with the fact that David Price has been horrific on the road this year (0-4, 8.07 ERA), means that the Tigers will very well be in this game the entire way. With the way they've been playing as of late, I could definitely see them winning this game straight up, but the uncertainty of how Nate Robertson's development will come along makes me hesitant to make that play. I'll take the safe route and take the Tigers runline, instead. BOL to all!
