Well i dont bet on the Yankees that much Brock, so they havent taken much of my money....in fact, i can almost guarantee i have made more the times i went against them, then they have cost me going with them...

We shall see about Johnson.....

I am not that impressed with Mulder so far....has had some good outings, but to get hit hard by HOuston like he did, something is wrong.....Yankees could light him up, if he isnt "on"....

When betting my "MONEY' i am going for the best value i see for my dollar...Hence today its the WhiteSox....

However in the contest, i am currently in a spot to move on, and would prefer risking a different game where i cant LOSE AS MUCH in the standings if I am wrong.....Its a different game than betting with money...I am simply playing to get into the top 15 by the 14th of the month....Being farther ahead is of no value, as we start anew then.....So the "value" changes, as the "plus" money isnt as important as the "minus" that i could lose...

Not sure if that makes sense....but almost all of my contest picks have been dawgs or (-130) or lower fav's....simply dont want to lose 200 points in the standings with a big fav gettin beat....It happened to me ONCE in the contest, or i would be safe about now.....

Thanks MP......sure was nice to sweep the afternoon set, even though we had the DREADED YANKEES, and were trailing in the other 2 games at some point..

Cubs made it scary in the 9th, but they are starting to play good ball, and if Zambrano is ok, they are far from dead this year, as many proclaimed....


We are 4-0, +6.81 units so far, with some nice night action still to come...

Damn SS, sorry to see that....I hadn't noticed about the king of the hill, til u just said it.....How come u missed so many days? I purposely set it up for only 25 plays in a 30-31 day period, so that people wouldnt be eliminated just missing a day here or there.......

As for the "team of the week" dont give up like some did, and quit picking a team....it may hurt you on the overall standings (although it can be overcome) there are still VERY NICE monthly prizes to be awarded....Hell winning a month, pays more than finishing 6-10th overall.....I set it up that way, so people would have NO REASON to completely give up..
