yeah, and they didnt score with a man on 3rd and NO OUTS in the 6th...that was ugly......then had bases loaded and NO OUTS in the 7th, and batter strikes out...luckily Soriano did get 1 run home with a SF on next at bat, or it would have been real bad..

Of course I was on the Cubs last night, and not tonight. I hope they use Marmol in the closer role and just forget about Gregg, that guy will give Lou a stroke by June. What do you think they will do with the closer and setup situation bucs ?

i think it will be situational for awhile at least...i think officially Gregg will stay the closer, with the reasoning being his blown save yesterday could have been prevented with a good defensive play by either Soriano or Theriot.....so i think he'll stay with him for now.....but another 2-3 blown saves in the month, and he'll make the change....for now, if Gregg closes for a couple days, he will probably use marmol for the 3rd one, so that he can test him, all the while using the reasoning that Gregg has pitched in cons games....only thing there being, usually if its a game where Gregg will close, most likely Marmol was in the 8th as well....but i think that Gregg has to blow at least 2-3 more in the next month before he loses the job

i dont necessarily like him, i just think he's there to stay for now...i wish we still had Kerry Wood myself...he did the job just fine.....but things change....we'll see how it goes..
