I am already 2nd guessing myself on adding the two totals so I would say Houston is my "best" play. Anyway here's a few words about the plays....
For the Reds Haynes is 1-7 in his last 8 days start and the Astros have beaten them 8 times in a row as it is. Cincy is 2-8 in their last 10 at home and hitting .176 against lefthanded pitching during that time frame. Have to go with the Astros to make it 9 in a row.
-----------
Houston/Cincy under - Villone has a 2.70 ERA and is holding opponents to a .200 batting average against him. He's throwing very well. Haynes has been sharp himself of late and I feel 10 is just too many runs. For what it's worth no Griffey in the line-up either.
-----------------
Pitt/Hous under - Two teams throwing arguably their best pitchers, both teams hit rather poorly to begin with. Bullpens in recent 10 games are throwing very well so if we get out of the box well we have a chance to hang on. The under is 7-1 in the last 8 starts Sheets has had against Pirates. Umpire is about a wash.
Good luck tomorrow men!
