Free pick on Tigers/White Sox OVER

I'm recommending a play on the OVER in Saturday's AL Central action that has the White Sox visiting the Tigers. Chicago was held to 2-hits on Thursday in the series finale against the Orioles, but outside of that they have been swinging the bats well. The White Sox had 12 hits on Wednesday, 11 yesterday and 48 hits over their last 5 games combined.

I look for them to keep the offense going here against Detroit veteran Francisco Liriano, who has a mere 4.64 ERA and 1.406 WHIP in 4 home starts. The Tigers should also be locked in at the plate in this one. Chicago is sending out left-hander Hector Santiago, who has an ugly 7.11 ERA and 1.684 WHIP in 4 starts. Note that Detroit is scoring 5.1 runs/game and hitting .288 as a team against left-handed starters this season.

We're on another very strong winning streak & are enjoying a very strong Winning 2018 year....Here's a MLB Team Total play that I'm on for the early game today....Have a great weekend everyone & BOL to all who play along with us here.
Saturday Early Game Free MLB Team Total
ATLANTA BRAVES OVER 4.5 runs (-130 @sportsbook.ag)
A very nice weather pattern here, and of course we are well aware of how well these Braves rake LH pitching. They get a sub par left-handed SP facing them in Pomeranz this morning & definitely expect these Braves to get to him eventually.

Take 'Over' Arizona at Oakland (4 p.m., Saturday, May 26)

If you've been paying close attention, you've noticed that the ball is not traveling well in Arizona with the humidor now in play. We've seen a ton of unders in Chase Field as a result. I think it's really gotten into the heads of the Diamondbacks hitters as several guys are having terrible seasons. The D-Backs have been better offensively away from home, and there's reason to believe in the OVER on Saturday because of it. Arizona will play in Oakland against the A's on Saturday afternoon. Zack Greinke is slated to go for Arizona, and he's really struggled on the road over the last few seasons. In fact, Greinke has some of the worst road splits in baseball over that span compared to his home splits. Trevor Cahill gets the ball for Oakland, and he's perfectly hittable. Play the OVER between the Diamondbacks and the A's as our Saturday Bonus Play selection.

10* Free MLB Pick (Diamondbacks +155)

I'll take my chances here with Arizona in this one. We are getting an exceptional price here to back the Diamondbacks on the road against the A's. Arizona had one of it's best days at the plate in quite some time in yesterday's 7-1 win. The Diamondbacks racked up 12 hits, the first time they reached double-digit hits since May 8th. Keep in mind it was against a quality starter in Sean Manaea, which is why I think they can keep it going here against the A's Daniel Mengden. Arizona will also send out Clay Buchholz, who was sharp in his first start in over a year at the big league level, allowing just 1 run on 2 hits with 1 walk in 5 innings at New York (Mets). He'll be up against an A's offense that is sputtering right now. Oakland has scored 2 or fewer in 3 of their last 4 and just 7 runs total during this stretch. Give me the Diamondbacks +155!

Why the Tigers on Saturday at -120...The Tigers come into this afternoon's affair after winning their last two games. Despite poor offensive output over their L7 Days (L7 Days), we will back the Tigers offense against a LHP with a season average RPG output of 5.1 to go with a .288 BA/.328 OBP and 14 HRs. The Tigers will start Franky Liriano who is coming off of a fine road start against the Mariners where he allowed 0 runs on 1 hit through 8 innings with 5 Ks. Liriano's saber numbers backed him as well in that start as he posted an 11% LD% (SA 17%) with a 21% soft contact% and a hard contact% of 21% (SA 29%). Looking into Liriano's daytime numbers, he has posted a 2.63 era during the day this season through 24 IP where he has allowed just 11 hits on 1 HR. With the underexposed lineup of the White Sox with a combined 20 ABs w/ 1 hit off Liriano, we like him in this home spot. On the young season, the White Sox have posted a 3-8 record against LHP to match a 4.4 RPG average with a .233 BA/.296 OBP and 13 HRs. Hector Santiago hasn't been so sharp of late posting an 8.16 era over his last 14 IP where he allowed 4 HRs on 11 Ks and 11 BBs. His saber numbers tell the same story as over his last three starts he has displayed a drop in his GB% and a rise in his FB%. Santiago posted a soft contact% of 0% with a hard contact% of 53% (SA 30%) in his last start. In his career at Comerica Park, Santiago has posted a respectable 2.83 through 35 IP, but his 1-4 record with 6 HRs allowed waves a red flag heading into this daytime road start against a Tigers offense that has a combined 156 ABs with 6 HRs against Santiago. Looking into his daytime digits, Santiago has allowed 4 HRs through 23 IP which seems to be par for the course due to the fact that in 2017, Santiago posted a 1-5 record with a 6.03 era through 31 IP where he allowed 9 HRs during the day. Look for the Tigers bats to wake up who have a 14-11 daytime record where they average 4.8 RPG with a .280 BA/.333 OBP.Play on the Tigers at -120
