How many out there have Direct TV? Do you like it better than cable? Do you subcribe to the NFL Sunday Ticket?

Pirate cards.. Pain in the butt to keep up but worth the headaches. I would subscribe legally if the prices were reasonable.

Two DirecTV receivers ... NFL Sunday Ticket on both ... plus 2 local network games. On the weekends, the living room looks like a sports bar ... 4 games at any given time on 4 TVs.

It's worse than crack.

funny you ask. CNN reported yesterday that customer approval rankings were higher for sattelite customers than cable subscribers. I have DTV also, love it!

But then again, that survey by CNN did it explain that people living in condos/apts do not have the option of satellite so must use cable?
Hey I love CNN --but I wonder about surveys. And yes given the choice I would have satellite.

DTV is the rolls royce of tv. Cable is the Hugo of TV in comparing the two. Nothing beats Sunday from 1 pm to 730 pm on DTV. From channel 704 to 717, there is a game on every one of these channels. You got every NFL game, 94% of NBA games, 82% of all NHL games, and about 76% of all MLB games. Plus you still got about 600 more channels, including all local channels across the USA on the 400's and 600's, and 5 great porno channels, 4 of which are pretty hardcore. .. NO comparison here.. DTV rules!! I can't live without this package.

new to direct TV here. great channels with a lot of choices. By the time I decide on what to watch it is nearly over. Someday I will figure out how to program favorites.

DTV goes out in storms

If you have a tech install and setup DTV correctly this shouldn't be a problem. I have seen DTV go out during bad weather but a weak signal due to a incorrectly positioned dish was the problem.
