Morning Ya'll
CBB - 4-3 (+1.4 u)
Tarheels -6.5 (3 units) - Paige still out for UNC but I feel like this line is still short due to the name that Northern Iowa has (for good reason after the last 5 years), but they lost Seth Tuttle and to a lesser extent Nate Buss who were two important bigs for the Panthers. They only have 2 people over 6'6 that play so if UNC can get Koch or Friedman in foul trouble it should be some serious issues with Heels' depth in the frontcourt. Just too much depth all around for the Heels compared to a N. Iowa team who lacks depth. They will have to live and die by the 3 ball and that will allow UNC to break away in the 2nd half and win this one by 12-15.
Oregon State +1.5 (2 units) - I do think that this Oregon State team is very improved this year and are in a good spot to get the win on the road against Santa Barbara. Good set of guards for Oregon State with a lot of experience in Gary Payton II and Langston Morris-Walker who are seniors and the junior Malcolm Duviver who can knock down the three. Gauchos are a solid team as well expected to finish near the top of the big West, but this is actually a big game for the Beavers that looks winnable to me.
Northeastern -7 (1unit) - Don't know much about Lispcomb at all admittedly so, but have seen Northeastern play a few times last year and they are an experienced group with some good size. Quincy Ford is a beast inside on the boards, two tall senior guards who can hit the 3 in Zach Stahl and David Walker, some decent depth. They struggled vs Florida Atlantic in the first round, but I like them to bounce back for a big win.
Small unit plays on UCLA pk and Northwestern +11 in CFB. Dont love either as Northwestern struggles on the road, but not sold on that Wisky team and it seems like 11 is too much. UCLA banged up, but Utah has started to get exposed. Wouldn't be surprised to see them drop this game at home.
Good luck today.
