Sars may now be in my hometown MD?

It was reported on local news a tourist fronm Honk Kong is in a local hospital here and has the Sars symptoms..They are even checking the apt. building she was staying at to see if anyone else has sypmtoms.

how`s about this one....the second case was at kennedy krieger institute in baltimore..reported today...a doctor that recently returned from a trip from toronto....my next door neighbor is also a doctor there ........forgive me for not going over to get the skinny....if i see her i`ll yell at her from my property....don`t think i`ll be visiting...damn...that`s a little to close to home...

The way its been going so far, this thing is going to get round the world sooner or later.

If we cant stop it, are we not better off to let it run its course?

It mutates really fast as well, the Canadian version is meant to be different, and some say more dangerous.

So if we delay it with quarantine etc, we get more mutations from the virus because it thrives for longer, and therefore creates more variables in how it affects us.

If we let it spread quickly, we get fewer virus mutations, but who the hell wants SARS in their neighbourhood.

If a vaccine isnt found, its a real rock and a hard place scenario.

Yet another case in my state....I`m not concerned so much yet..But this doesn`t seem like its going to be an easy task. How will this thing end?
