Race 1
The Jerkens horse will probably take some action, but she looks to be better suited to route and the works are nothing to write home about. CIMARRON RAIN, on the other hand, has been working very well and with In Excess in her blood you gotta know she's bred to win early. I guess the question is who will run 2nd?
The bet: $10 exacta 7/1,2 and wheel the 7 in the DD.

Race 2
SWEPT IN THREE should be able to wire this group. The only horse that can even run with him early is Cornelio's and he doesn't scare me much at all.
The bet: $20 WP #3

Cervesa,
In race #1, Cimarron Rain #7 is 8-5/9-5 on the ML, whereas #5 Grantmeatrophy is 10-1/15-1 with several races under her belt already and a jockey change to Fragoso, whom I consider an improvement.

ps. I have no idea why both you and the form like the Jerkens horse, #3, Key Oui Two. These first time out races are so hard to figure.

Cervesa,
In race 2, I would take Prado on the #7 horse, Fleet Aint, if the price was right....9/2-6-1 on the ML, but sometimes Prado gets bet down to unbettable odds.

Race 8 is a great betting race...a case can be made for #'s 1,2,4,5,7,8,9!!!! Of course when in doubt, it never hurts to bet bailey#8 and day#9.

Just got back - been out all day. Going to play race 5...

I think ACCEPTABLE VENTURE is beatable here. If Chavez takes CAPE POGUE to the front - which is likely - then SEA SQUIRREL should get the perfect trip. Sure, I'm trying to beat the favorite - but at these odds, why not?
The bet: $10 W #2 $5 ex box 2-6

I can't back MULTIPLE WINS at even money so it's hard to bet this race at all. This is probably one to lay off, but in the interest of having a little action here I'll look to RECEIVERSHIP to hold off the field after being forwardly placed throughout.

Wide open affair so we'll look for a price. Why not GP FLEET? Lightly raced, on the improve, and Flint knows what he's doing with turfers. Gets Velazquez as well.
The bet: $15 WPS #4
