McCain Campaign: Gov. Palin's Daughter Is Pregnant
(CBS) Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin admitted Monday that her 17-year-old daughter is pregnant.

Bristol Palin is about five months pregnant and is going to marry the father, the Palins said in a statement released by the McCain campaign.

Monday's announcement was intended to knock down internet rumors that Plain faked her own pregnancy with son Trig, who was born in April with Down Syndrome, to cover up for her Bristol.
