SS I didn't play the 1st way too many questions re dist etc. I did play race to $16.20 winner $71ex and $110 tri. Once again the horses are listed in the order I prefer them but not necessarily how I will bet them. For exotics I checked the payoffs for each combo trying to get a minimum return of 50% on investment. I usually also play 2 horses wp dutching 60% on the low odds horse and 40% on the other. I try o hold out for 5/2 on the lower one but will take 2-1. For example in the 2nd I bet $6wp on the 4 and 4wp on the 8.
There are a lot of turf races where you get several horses trying the turf for the 1st time which makes for a lot of unknowns. I've now have adjusted to play only the turf races where all the horses have run on it. Since I've done that my results have improved. I do cap all of the turf races for horses 3 and up since it's the only way to continue to improve.
