Just spent 16.95 for 2 Marlboro. An increase tomorrow of 12-15 cent a pack in Pa. GTD a pay raise is on the way for State workers! Isn't anything anyone can do except vote and complain. Don't forget to watch the debacle tonight at 9 on NBC. I mean the debate no doubt in my mind Healthcare will be a Talking point. I wonder why since the healthcare they talk about is not theirs. I'll vote for the person who salary is $1

That's actually cheap compared to many places. I haven't smoked anything in probably 12-15 years, but a pack of Marlboro is better than $10 in CT, and like $15 in NYC.

Smoking is so unpopular now, it's getting ridiculous, politicians will tax you to death for being a smoker, I can see a pack of Marby-dogs being $50 pretty soon !, You might as well go natural with Mary Jane !, The smoke at least smells good and isn't full of unprounouncible chemicals.

Prohibition doesn't work, it's kind of ironic to outlaw e-cigs yet allow cannabis and alcohol sales, and also welcome all the LGT whatevers
My guess is, because with those things, you know what you get. We know how and why those items are bad for you. Its public knowledge and they have been around forever. With ecigs, there is no data on longterm usage and i dont think they are regulated in any way shape or form.

they've been regulated by FDA for last 3 years

I believe the FDA brought e-cigarettes under their oversight three years ago, but delayed applications for approval until 2022, so most remain relatively unregulated at the moment. I know the FDA was being sued over this decision, so it may have been reversed and I missed it.

Solution stop the sale of cigarettes and watch death rate drop! Not happening boys/girls the tobacco is https://blog.turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tips/how-much-is-the-government-making-off-of-tobacco-3345/ a BIG revenue maker... BLAH-BLAH

BTW
Health care and immigration, more than any other issues, led the debate!

Healthcare fix, give those voting on it whatever coverage they decide on they must use themselves......
