San Diego VS Buffao ? thoughts gentlemen

initially my lean is to San Diego. bills off the bye week helps them, but i see edwards being fuzzy and somewhat off his game.
Chargers getting healthier perhaps and with some momentum after killing the pats. Long trip for SD, that doesnt always help, but they are not seattle.
Bills strong D makes this look low scoring.

What do you guys think and lets get a winner on this by gametime! Even if its a lossman prop... lol

my takes on bills games this year is: 4-1 ATS, sides only, with the loss being week 1/hawks.

San Diego is the more talented team, no doubt. How they handle the disadvantageous situation is the only question, but i think the oddsmaker has already accounted for that in the line as it is surprising to me that San Diego wasn't a -3 here. The Bills are obviously an improved team this year, but the gap between these teams was huge at the end of last year and my guess is that they haven't closed the gap enough to make a PK line very good value.

Yeah, i tend to agree with that. Buffalo, at 4-1 is more than likely playing over their heads and thus the overrated team in this matchup. Buffalo's early schedule has been a disgrace.

Bilbeater, it's great to see you on BUF early. I was looking at this gm, hoping SD would be fav. Now it's working out that way. MIA's "O" is a little harder to gameplan for, but their "O" is pretty pedestrian. Just like BUF's! Run hard with Lynch, and make safe passes with Edwards. I strongly believe BUF takes a close gm. Huego brings up all the good pts against SD. But I think with Chambers & Sproles hobbled, BUF's "D" can focus on LT better. And with Roscoe Parrish returning, that boosts BUF's potent special teams. And as far as SD coming off a "big" win and turning that into a streak, remember SD busted up NYJ on monday night, just to squeak by @ OAK, then lose convincingly @ MIA.

I heard that BUF might have bad weather sunday, but the early forecast was partly sunny. Billbeater, would appreciate any updates you may have.

Hi Wormy!

Whats nice about football is that through the week things seem to become clearer each day. Sunday weather is looking fine and about 60 degrees, should be no factor at all.

Today I am feeling stronger about the Chargers winning this without it being a nailbiter.
I strongly feel that we may see Lossman in this game at some point. Edwards will get hit and not look good in this game.
The balance of the Chargers offense will be key and I don't think that they will take the Bills and their record lightly. Bills starting games slow, and that could hurt again this week.

Now getting a point this is looking better and better, people seeing a Miami game again, and that gets us the point or 2 by gametime.

I like what Rivers can do, and we have Gates back. Not buying into any buffalo hype for this game so far.

This game is kinda like the BYU game with the line movement, but i really think that BYU and SD are just two great plays. These two seem to be the very best plays on the board this week! 2-0 would be fine with me

Breaking down the injury report--

SD had alot of guys sit out practice for the week-- LT, Sproles, Chambers and Davis did not participate.

For Buff a few big playmakers in Schobel and McGee sat out. Parrish limited participation and Edwards had full participation so I expect he will be ready to go.

Still leaning toward BUFF but waiting to pull the trigger.. Thinking about throwing them in a parlay. :drink:

Chargers are getting too much respect with the line here, and the bookies know the public will hop on after seeing them beat the Pats easily, and with all the people who constantly talk about 'how the Chargers are talented and desperate to catch Denver'.
